This new year reminds us that life is not about having everything figured out. It is about choosing God every single day and allowing Him to lead us step by step. When we stay close to Him, He gives us the strength to keep going, to rise again, and to move forward—no matter what lies behind us.
The Ptr. Amado Petallana opens the year with what apostle Paul reminds us in Philippians 3:12–14 that none of us have arrived yet. We are still in process.
Church, as we step into this new year, let us choose not to be defined by our past failures, disappointments, or even past successes. What matters is that we keep pressing on—eyes fixed on Christ, hearts surrendered to His will.
Let this be a year of new beginnings. A year where we put God first in everything we do. A year where we allow Him to rebuild what has been broken, restore what has been lost, and realign our hearts with His purpose.
We may not have it all together, but we serve a God who holds it all together. And as long as we continue to pursue Him, He will faithfully lead us forward.
Happy Sunday, church family. May this year be one of deeper faith, renewed strength, and unwavering hope in the Lord.
God bless.
