We honor mothers who abide in Christ so deeply that His wisdom and kindness naturally flow through them to everyone they touch.

Happy Mother's Day!

Stunned by the unearthly behavior of Paul and Silas, and terrified by the earthquake and the possible consequences of escaping prisoners, the jailer despaired of his life. Then, realizing his own true condition and need, he risked everything to find the answer. The problem was he thought he could “do” something to find deliverance. When we recognize Jesus as Lord and trust in him with our entire lives, salvation is assured. There is nothing we can do to make it happen. We must simply accept what Jesus has done.

Acts 16:31 NLT
They replied, "Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, along with everyone in your household."

CHRIST IS RISEN!

1 Corinthians 15:3-4 NKJV
v.3 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,

v.4 and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures,

The resurrection is the ultimate "receipt" proving that Jesus is exactly who He claimed to be—not just a good teacher, but God in the flesh. By coming back to life, He showed that His sacrifice actually worked, clearing our spiritual debt and making us "right" with God once and for all. This victory turned the tables on death, proving that it isn't a final dead end anymore, but something that has been officially defeated. Because of this, we don't have to live in fear or regret; instead, we get a fresh start and a "living hope" that gives us the strength to face today and the confidence that there is something much better waiting for us ahead.

God is the Creator of everything—heaven, earth, and sea. If He made the universe, He can handle your problems. Unlike humans whose plans fail, He "keeps every promise forever." His word is not subject to a lifespan or a change in office.

Let us live a life of praise because our "Helper" is the one who actually has the power to sustain us.

If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.
(John 14:15, NASB)

Because Jesus loves the Father, he is obedient to what God directs him to say and do (John 12:49). If we love him, we will obey him, too.

Love for Christ is inseparable from obedience (Lk 6:46; 1Jn 5:2, 3)

• Jesus is framing love as allegiance. The challenge for the believer is to prioritize Christ’s standards over their own desires, even when they don’t "feel" particularly pious.

• It’s not "obey me so that I will love you," but rather "because you love me, you will naturally want to obey." It challenges Christians to move past a Saving faith into an active, transformative lifestyle.

Happy Birthday Rev. Jose Aquino!

"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."

Matthew 4:18-22 NLT
18 One day as Jesus was walking along the shore of the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers—Simon, also called Peter, and Andrew—throwing a net into the water, for they fished for a living.
19 Jesus called out to them, “Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people!”
20 And they left their nets at once and followed him.
21 A little farther up the shore he saw two other brothers, James and John, sitting in a boat with their father, Zebedee, repairing their nets. And he called them to come, too. 22 They immediately followed him, leaving the boat and their father behind.

• Following Christ often requires "leaving" something behind—whether it's a specific sin, a source of false security, or an old identity—to make room for the new.
• God doesn't want to erase your personality or your talents; He wants to redeem and repurpose them for His mission.
• God does not call the qualified; He qualifies the called. Willingness and availability are more important to Him than a high-status resume.
