• Pinanibagong pangkabuuang paghubog sa pananampalataya,
• Pagsasabuhay ng pananampalataya,
• Pagbibigay – tinig at lakas sa mga layko,
• Pagtataguyod ng mga Mumunting Sambayanang Kristiyano at
• Paglilingkod kaisa ng mga mahihirap. HISTORY OF SAN SEBASTIAN PARISH
San Narciso, a town in Zambales was founded in the year 1846 by Narciso Claveria at about 1870, the Recollects came to this town and they built a small church which made of bamboo. By the year 1886, the church was started to be reconstructed but now using stronger materials of bricks. Unfortunately, half part only was finished because of the start of the revolution. Then right after the end of the revolution they continued to build and construct the church. Here, each parishioners was assigned to bring several stones or rocks for the construction until the church was finally completed. The first activities of the San Sebastian Parish during those years were: Sta. Cruz de Mayo – introduced by Mexicans which were part of their tradition in order to have Christian gathering. La Naval during October, processions during Holy Week, Vigil for the dead during All Soul’s Day. Misa de Gallo during Christmas as time-here, parishioners bring their own “lampara or buho” which serves as the light inside the church. Now, San Sebastian Parish Church located at Brgy. Libertad, San Narciso, Zambales celebrates its foundation every 20th of January in Honor of St. Sebastian as the patron Saint of the parish. San Sebastian Parish Priests from 1900 – present
