SUNDAY WORSHIP CELEBRATION
April 26, 2026
Topic: TOTALLY FREE (Legally Justified, Declared, Righteous, and Set Free)
Roma 8:1 reminds us: “There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. “This means your past mistakes, failures, and guilt no longer define you. In Christ, you are forgiven and accepted. You don’t have to live trying to prove your worth or carry the weight of shame.:When guilt tries to come back, don’t entertain it, stand firm in the truth that God has already set you free. Walk in confidence, not condemnation.
Roma 8:31 says: “If God is for us, who can be against us?” This is a powerful reminder that no opposition, fear, or challenge is greater than God’s presence in your life. You may face struggles, but you are never fighting alone. When you feel overwhelmed, rejected, or afraid, shift your focus because God is on your side. Move forward with courage, knowing that His power is greater than any problem you face.
Roma 8:32
This verse points to the greatest proof of God’s love, He already gave His best: Jesus. If God was willing to give what was most precious to Him, it means you never have to question His heart toward you.
Meaning, Jesus didn’t just pay just enough to cover your sins, He paid in full and beyond. There is nothing lacking, nothing left for you to earn, and nothing more to be added. His sacrifice completely satisfied the justice of God.
Stop living like you still owe a debt that Jesus already paid.
Roma 8:33 says: “Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies.”
This verse speaks like a courtroom scene. Accusations may come from people, from your past, even from your own thoughts, but the highest authority, God Himself, has already declared you justified.
If the Judge has already said you are forgiven, no accusation can overturn that verdict.
Pahayag 12:10-11
The enemy’s strategy is accusation such as reminding you of your sins, failures, and past. But his power is broken because the blood of Christ is an overpayment. There is nothing left for him to accuse you with that hasn’t already been fully paid.
Victory is not achieved, it is received. You overcome not by trying harder, but by trusting what has already been finished.
Roma 8:34
This verse answers the question of condemnation once and for all: no one has the right to condemn you because Jesus has already done everything necessary for your salvation.
So even now, Jesus is not against you, He is speaking to the Father for you.
The One who died for you is the same One praying for you.
Roma 8:16
This verse speaks about assurance, a deep, inner confirmation that you belong to God. It’s not just based on feelings, performance, or what others say. The Holy Spirit Himself is the One affirming your identity.
You are not trying to become God’s child, you already are.
Roma 8:17a
This builds on your identity as God’s child. It doesn’t stop at belonging you are also an heir. That means you are not empty-handed in your relationship with God. You have an inheritance, a share in everything that belongs to Christ.
Four-fold Assurance
1. We were sinners but Jesus was punished and died to fully pay our sins
2. We were sinners but Jesus was resurrected
3. We were sinners but Jesus is now at the right hand of God, the place of highest honor, authority, and power
4. We were sinners but Jesus is representing us and praying for us before God continuously.
IF GOD IS FOR US, WHO CAN BE AGAINST US?
Roma 8:38-39
This is one of the strongest declarations of security in all Scripture. Nothing has the power to separate you from God’s love.
From no condemnation, to no accusation, to no separation, your relationship with God is fully secured in Christ.
