Last Tuesday night was a good reminder that meaningful relationships matter.

A room full of genuine people, honest conversations, and the kind of connection you don’t take for granted.

Really grateful for the community being built here, people who show up for each other, encourage growth, and make others feel seen.

During our Sunday service, we talked about the Fruit of the Holy Spirit from Galatians 5:22–23, focusing on love and joy.

Love is the foundation of everything. Agape love means unconditional and sacrificial love. God wants the best for us, and we are called to love others through kindness, care, and serving them. That true love reflects God’s heart.

Also, we talked about joy, which is more than happiness. Real joy comes from God, not from our situation. We learned that thankful people stay joyful, even during hard times like problems, sickness, or financial struggles. That we can still praise God in difficult seasons.

We’ve learned that when we allow the Holy Spirit to work in our lives, He helps us show genuine love and experience lasting joy no matter what season we are in.

Today’s Sunday service centered on a simple but challenging truth: we often desire the presence of the Holy Spirit, but we don’t choose obedience and that’s where the disconnect begins.
In John 14:15, Jesus says that loving Him is shown through obeying Him. It’s not just about emotions, worship moments, or feeling spiritual but it’s about our daily choices. Acts 5:29 reinforces this: we are called to obey God above everything else, even when it’s difficult or uncomfortable.

Obedience positions us for the Holy Spirit to move. The disciples had to wait and follow God’s instruction before receiving His promise, even when it didn’t fully make sense. Obedience builds a strong foundation, while disobedience creates blockage and can grieve the Holy Spirit. But here’s the promise: obedience leads to a deeper, more personal experience of God.

Bringing it into today, the message is very real that it’s easy to say we want God’s presence in our work, relationships, and decisions but the real question is, are we willing to follow what He says, even in the small things?
The challenge is clear, we want to feel the presence of the Holy Spirit but are we willing to follow and be obedient to God?

Last night, we were reminded of our mission:
PRAY. GROW. REACH.

In Acts 2:42-47, the early church devoted themselves to prayer, fellowship, and the Word—and God caused the church to grow daily.

In Ezekiel 22:30, God is looking for someone who will stand in the gap. Will we be that generation?

And in Matthew 28:19-20, we are called not just to stay—but to GO and make disciples.

PRAY – because before the harvest, there must be intercession
GROW – because God is developing us daily
REACH – because souls matter to God

This is not just a message this is our lifestyle.

Let’s continue to be a church that prays, grows, and reaches!
Each one, reach one.

A Growing Church is a Praying Church.
