If we want to build what lasts, we must first build deep roots in Christ. Because if your roots are not deep, you will easily collapse. (Colossians 2:6-7)
At the same time, we are also called to be rooted in the Word, letting God’s Word dwell richly in us and shape what comes out of our hearts. (Colossians 3:16)
And our roots are strengthened through trials. Trials may not be easy, but God can use them to produce endurance and maturity in us.
Remember: The storm doesn’t create your foundation, the storm reveals your foundation.
Go deep before you go high.
Let’s not be satisfied with shallow Christianity. Let’s choose to remain in Christ, grow in His Word, trust Him through every season, and build a faith that can stand when storms come.
Let’s build what lasts. Let’s build our lives through Jesus Christ.
