•10 OPINIONS ABOUT "TIK-TOK"

MY BIBLICAL PERSPECTIVE ON "TIK-TOK".

I strongly believe that believers should not be in harmony with the world as John 15:19 says, "but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you OUT of the world.".

Here are the reasons below why I am disgusted & disappointed by the act of tiktok-ing itself:

1. IT IS AN ACT OF CONFORMITY TO THE WORLD
Romans 12:1-2 King James Version (KJV)
12 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

2. IT IS ADDICTIVE
1 Corinthians 6:12 King James Version (KJV)
12 All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.

3. IT SEDUCES --leud body languages

4. IT DOESN'T GLORIFY GOD

5. IT PROMOTES WORLDLINESS

6. IT PROMOTES WORLDLY DANCING

7. IT CREATES LUST

8. IT SETS NO VARIANCE WITH THE UNBELIEVERS

9. YOU ARE LOVING WHAT GOD HATES

10. IT PROMOTES VANITY

I WAS ASKED BY ONE of our house church attendees: "Pastor, do you also make the sign of the cross?"

My answer: No, we don't for the following reasons:

1. We are never taught in the Holy Bible to make any such sign.

2. Jesus did not teach nor did He make the sign of the cross.

3. The Apostles and disciples never taught the sign of the cross.

4. The Apostle Paul, who wrote one-half of the New Testament, did not teach about the sign of the cross.

5. The purposes of the sign of the cross, according to religious explanation, are:

a. To remember the Holy Trinity. My comment: How can you forget someone you love? A person with the Spirit of God cannot forget God and does not need an instrument (or a sign) to make them remember. Do you ever forget your father or mother?

b. To ward off evil. My comment: How come that people make the sign of the cross inside their church? Is there so much evil there? Why do we not see people make the sign of the cross when they watch po*******hy or inside bars or places of sin?

c. To remember the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. My comment: Again, how can one forgot such a wonderful expression of God's love for us? And we have the Lord's Supper as a memorial to what Christ has done for us.

d. To gain the blessings of God. My comment: Never in all of Scripture are we told that we can have God's blessing by making the sign of the cross! Obedience to God's Word brings blessings, not any kind of religious sign or ritual we make.

6. Many make the sign of the cross without any understanding why they are doing it. When asked why they are doing it, most people say, "Because that was what I was taught."

7. The sign of the cross was a later addition to the church's religious expression, around 300 years after Christ and after all the original apostles have died and several generations of Christians have passed.

I am not putting down those who are making the sign of the cross. I am just providing knowledge that you may not have in order to help you understand it better.

I encourage you to read your Bible and live by it. At the end of the Day it will be God who will judge us and not any pope, priest, or pastor.

Seek the Truth and the Truth will set YOU FREE.
