The Ephesus Tradition.The Virgin Mary spent the last years of her life in Ephesus (Turkey) uban siya Juan .They resided in the so called House of the Virgin Mary,which was rediscovered in 1881 and transformed into chapel ,When her time came ,on August 15,she fell asleep and the angels brought her body and soul to paradise kini nga tradisyon naila kini sa gitawag ug "Dormitio Mariae,or Falling asleep of Mary(nahikatulog lang Si Maria)
The Jerusalem Tradition.Nag ingon At the end of her life ,Mary was in Jerusalem together with john and other apostles.She actually died and was buried near the Garden of olives ,in the called Tomb of Mary ,Preserved till the Present .Three days later ,St.Thomas arrived in Jerusalem and wanted to inspect the body of Mary .After removing the Stone he found the tomb completely empty and realized that she was assumed body and soul to Paradise.Kini kamatayon ni Maria nagpasabot kini ni ambit siya sa kamatayon sa iyang Diosnong anak si jesus gipakita mismo ni Maria subject usab siya sa Genaral law of death...pero walay dogmatic definition or teaching ang Simbahan kong namatay ba si Maria o wala..
