As young adults, we often follow what seems right—our feelings, our instincts, our own understanding. Pero sabi ng Bible:

“The heart is deceitful above all things.” - Jeremiah 17:9

That’s why we need wisdom.
Not the world’s wisdom, but God’s wisdom—
the kind that corrects us, guides us, and keeps us from paths that only seem right but end in hurt.

It’s God’s Word that shines the light when our feelings confuse us.
It’s God’s truth that protects us from deception.
It’s God’s wisdom that leads us to life.

Let’s choose wisdom over impulse,
God’s Word over our own emotions,
and truth over deception. 🔥

Another life-giving night with the YAN fam! We dove into the Sociological Perspective of the Self, talking about how the world and people around us shape who we are, but ultimately how our identity is grounded in something far greater, God’s truth. 💛

Romans 12:2 reminded us to not just go with the flow of the world, but to allow God to renew our minds so we can live out His will, good, pleasing, and perfect.

Shoutout to everyone who shared, served, and simply showed up. These moments matter.

Last Saturday, August 16, 2025, we had another powerful and heart-stirring fellowship — as usual!

Our topic, Self-Worth: Your Identity in Christ (Romans 12:2), reminded us that our value isn't defined by the world, but by the One who created us.
We are transformed, renewed, and made whole in Him.

From hectic schedules to everyday stress, we asked:

The answer? God's grace is more than enough.
We shared stories, met new people, and reminded each other we’re not alone in the grind.

A safe space. A listening ear. A reminder that we are never alone.

At our recent Young Adult Night on Mental Health, we opened up about the thoughts that occupy our minds, the emotions that we quietly carry and the silent battles no one sees. We were asked the hard questions and our answers brought both tears and breakthroughs.

Our experiences may have affected us deeply, but they also brought lessons that shaped us.
In honesty, we found healing.
In every story shared, we saw God’s hand — steady, present, and faithful.

God doesn’t walk away from our mess.
He stays. He heals. He strengthens.
Healing begins when we stop hiding and let Him in.

Thank You, Lord, for fighting for us.
You are good. You are near. You are enough.

“Why are you still single?”
It is not a flaw. It’s a season. And through it, God is doing a deeper work.

In our recent YANight, we talked about waiting well, not just for a relationship, but for God’s perfect will. We shared about healing, understanding our attachment styles, and learning how our past shapes the way we connect with others today. More than finding “the one,” it’s about becoming whole in Christ first.

Singleness is not being alone. It’s being prepared. It's a season to prepare, to heal, to seek wisdom, to grow, and to deepen our walk with God. It’s a time to let God reveal, refine, and ready us for what’s next. In His time, in His way.

Thank You, Lord, for a night of wisdom, honesty, and growing together. 🙏

Making decisions isn’t always easy, but it becomes clearer when we let God lead. Through this Young Adult Night, we learned how to make choices with purpose, wisdom, and faith. We’re grateful for a night of learning, sharing, and growing together.

In the rush of life, it’s easy to overlook the things God has done for us. We tend to feel discouraged and down when things don’t go our way—but even then, God’s blessings remain. Whether it’s forgiveness, healing, strength in weakness, protection, or daily provision, every good thing comes from Him.

Take a moment today to list some of the “good things” God has done for you. You might be surprised at how long the list gets. 📝

FIRST OF 2025, BUT DEFINITELY NOT THE LAST!

The Young Adult Network San Antonio held its very first outdoor fellowship last May 03, 2025 at Tagpuan Bistro, Castillejos, Zambales!

As we laughed, shared stories, enjoyed great food, sang our hearts out, and found rest not just in the place, but in each other’s company.
