What began as a simple Bible study has become a powerful testimony of God's faithfulness.
Several years ago, Jonah Policarpio and his wife, Wilma, relocated from the Philippines to Dubai for employment. Sensing God's call and encouraged by his father, Bishop Policarpio, Jonah began a ministry under the banner of the Church of God of Prophecy.
The small gathering quickly grew into a thriving congregation, providing a spiritual home for many Filipino Overseas Foreign Workers (OFWs) living in Dubai. As the church continued to grow, they secured a place to worship regularly and minister to those seeking hope and community.
On March 22, 2026, the Church of God of Prophecy–Dubai was officially organized. Today, approximately 95 people gather for worship each week, including 69 covenant members, a remarkable milestone that reflects God's blessing on this young congregation.
In the midst of regional uncertainty, the Lord has established a beacon of hope in the United Arab Emirates. We rejoice in this exciting new chapter and celebrate the addition of the United Arab Emirates to our growing global fellowship.
