Today we celebrate 𝗣𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆—the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and the birthday of the one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church.

May the same Spirit who ignited the early Church set our hearts on fire with faith, hope, and love, and send us out to bear witness to Christ in the world.

“𝑻𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝑪𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒈𝒆, 𝑹𝒊𝒔𝒆, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑹𝒂𝒅𝒊𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕.”

What a grace-filled and unforgettable journey it has been for our delegates from St. Andrew, the Apostle Parish as we took part in the recently concluded Regional Youth Day 2026 together with our fellow young people from the different Archdioceses and Dioceses of Western Visayas and Romblon Region. 💛

From being strangers on the first day to becoming brothers and sisters in Christ, this gathering reminded us that the Church is truly alive in the hearts of the youth. Every smile shared, every conversation, every song, every prayer, and every encounter with our fellow “Kalakbays” became a reminder that despite our differences, we are united in one faith, one mission, and one Christ.

We came with different stories, cultures, and experiences, yet we were gathered as one family, courageously responding to Christ’s call to rise above our fears, deepen our faith, and radiate His light to others.

As we return to our respective communities, may the memories, friendships, and faith we have built continue to inspire us to serve with joyful and courageous hearts. May this RYD not only remain a moment we experienced, but a mission we continue to live.

Thank you, Lord, for the gift of faith and friendship. Until we meet again, Dear Kalakbays! 🤍🔥

After days of anticipation, prayer, and preparation, we stand on the threshold of a sacred encounter. Every prayer whispered, every expectation held in faith, has led us here.

This is not just a convergence of youth—it is a gathering of hearts ready to encounter Christ in a deeper, more personal way. Let every worry be surrendered, and every heart be opened wide to His presence.

Rise up, for the moment we have been waiting for is almost here, and Christ is already in our midst.

Radiate with Christ, not only in the gathering ahead, but even now as we prepare.

Three days to go, and we begin to feel the nearness of grace in a deeper way.

What once felt like anticipation is now turning into a growing sense of purpose—like hearts being slowly tuned to one melody: Christ alone.

As we prepare, we are invited to let go of distractions that weigh us down and instead embrace a posture of readiness. This is a reminder that God does not only meet us in grand moments, but even in the preparation leading to them.

Rise up, for the Lord is already working within us, even before we arrive.
