DAY 5 โ€“ SEEKING GODโ€™S PRESENCE DAILY

Scripture Reading:
Psalm 27:4, 8

Reflection:
Davidโ€™s greatest desire was not success or victory, but to dwell in Godโ€™s presence. Seeking God is not a one-time eventโ€”it is a daily pursuit. As prayer and fasting conclude, may our hearts continue to seek Him every day.

Reflection Question:
How can I intentionally seek God daily beyond this prayer and fasting season?

Prayer Focus:
Commit your life to continually seeking Godโ€™s presence.

Prayer Items:
โ€ข Thanksgiving for answered prayers and Godโ€™s faithfulness
โ€ข Praise for who God is and what He has done
โ€ข Gratitude for the past year and hope for the new season
โ€ข Clarity of vision and direction from the Lord
โ€ข Declaration of Godโ€™s promises over the church and families

DAY 4 โ€“ WAITING ON THE LORD

Scripture Reading:
Isaiah 40:28โ€“31

Reflection:
Seeking God is not always instantโ€”it often involves waiting. In fasting, we learn patience and dependence. God renews the strength of those who wait on Him, teaching us to rely not on our own power, but on His.

Reflection Question:
In what area of my life is God inviting me to wait and trust Him?

Prayer Focus:
Ask for renewed strength and perseverance as you wait on God.

Prayer Items:

โ€ข Wisdom, integrity, and protection for church leaders
โ€ข Unity and love within the church body
โ€ข Empowerment of every member to serve
โ€ข Growth in discipleship and outreach
โ€ข Impact of the church in the community and nation

โ€ข raise up many workers particularly church planters and their support

DAY 3 โ€“ DRAWING NEAR TO GOD

Scripture Reading:
James 4:7โ€“10

Reflection:
Seeking God requires humility and repentance. Drawing near to Him means turning away from pride, self-reliance, and sin. God promises that when we take a step toward Him, He draws near to us.

Reflection Question:
Is there anything in my heart that hinders closeness with God?

Prayer Focus:
Confess and surrender anything that separates you from God.

PRAYER ITEMS:
Personal
โ€ข Freedom from spiritual, emotional, and financial bondages
โ€ข Breakthrough in families, health, and personal struggles
โ€ข Healing for the sick and restoration for the broken

Jesus reminds us that anxiety often reveals misplaced priorities. When we seek God firstโ€”His kingdom and righteousnessโ€”everything else finds its proper place. Fasting helps realign our hearts, teaching us to trust God as our true provider.

Reflection Question:
What concerns or worries do I need to surrender as I seek God first?

Prayer Focus:
Pray for faith to trust God with every area of your life.

Reflection:
Seeking God begins with hungerโ€”not for answers, blessings, or solutions, but for God Himself. David longed for God as one thirsts in a dry land. Prayer and fasting awaken this holy desire, reminding us that only God truly satisfies our soul.

Reflection Question:
What am I truly hungry for in this season of my life?

Prayer Focus:
Ask God to deepen your hunger for His presence above all else.
