Happy Sunday at MMIM Sta. Barbara! 🙏

A blessed and meaningful time in God’s presence as we were reminded of our calling to be a praying community—partnering together in prayer and seeking God for open doors to share His Word. Through the message, we learned that prayer is not only personal but also purposeful, as we intercede for others, for leaders, and for opportunities where Christ can be made known.

🗣️ Speaker: Ptr. Rodel Pillas
📖 Message Title: Foreign Acquaintance
📖 Main Verse: Colossians 4:3

The message highlighted how we are called to be watchful and faithful in prayer, trusting that God is the one who opens doors for ministry and impact. Even in challenges, there are opportunities prepared by God, and our role is to remain prayerful, ready, and focused on making Christ known above all.

When we live a life of prayer:

- We partner with others in advancing God’s work
- We become sensitive to God-given opportunities
- We align our hearts with His purpose
- We boldly make Christ known in every situation

We are called to:

Pray continually – staying alert and intentional.
Stand in the gap – lifting others and leaders in prayer.
Walk through open doors – trusting God’s direction.
Live with purpose – making Christ the center of our message.

May we continue to be a community that prays faithfully, steps into God’s opportunities, and boldly shares Christ to others. 📖

To God be all the glory! ❤️

Happy Sunday at MMIM Sta. Barbara!

A blessed and meaningful time in God’s presence as we were reminded that we are called to be a “familiar community” that reflects Christ in both our private and public lives. 🙏📖 Through the message, we learned that being part of God’s community is not just about comfort—it is about transformation and influence.

🗣️ Speaker: Dexter Buenaobra
📖 Message Title: Familiar Community
📖 Main Verse: Matthew 5:13–16

The message centered on our calling to be the salt and light of the world. Just as salt preserves and adds flavor, we are called to bring godly influence wherever we are. And like light that shines in darkness, our lives should reflect Christ so that others may see and be led to Him.

As seen in the verses shared, we are reminded that our words should always be full of grace (Colossians 4:6), and our lives should shine like stars among people (Philippians 2:15). This connects deeply to the main verse—our influence as a community is visible, intentional, and meant to point others toward God.

A familiar community is not meant to stay comfortable—it should be transformative. It is not meant to stay hidden—it is purposefully public, shining for others to see Christ through us.

When we live as salt and light:

✨ We influence others through godly character
✨ We reflect Christ in both words and actions
✨ We become a testimony that draws people to Him
✨ We shine in our generation with purpose

We are called to:

Go with purpose – living as salt that impacts lives.
Shine with boldness – reflecting Christ in all we do.
Live authentically – showing a faith that is real and visible.

May we continue to live as a familiar community that not only grows together but also shines and transforms lives for God’s glory. 🔥📖

To God be all the glory! ❤️

Happy Sunday at MMIM Sta. Barbara!

A blessed and meaningful time in God’s presence as we were reminded of how we are called to live and influence those around us—especially our peers. 🙏📖 We are encouraged to reflect Christ not only in actions but also in our character, words, and daily lives.

🗣️ Speaker: Dexter Buenaobra
📖 Message Title: Toward the Peers
📖 Main Verse: 1 Peter 3:5

The message reminds us that true beauty and influence come from a gentle and faithful spirit devoted to God. As we relate with our peers, we are called to be examples of Christ—showing humility, respect, and a life that honors Him. Our influence becomes powerful when it is rooted in genuine faith.

As written in Luke 6:45, what comes out of our mouth reflects what is in our heart, and in Colossians 4:6, we are encouraged to let our speech always be full of grace. This teaches us that the way we speak and respond to others—especially our peers—should always reflect Christ’s love, wisdom, and truth.

When we live rightly toward our peers:

✨ We become a Christ-like influence
✨ We reflect God’s character in our generation
✨ We encourage others to grow in faith
✨ We point people closer to Jesus through our lives

We are called to:

Go with purity – living a life that honors God.
Speak with grace – using words that build and not tear down.
Lead by example – showing Christ in every situation.

May we always choose to live in a way that influences our peers toward Christ, knowing that our life can be a testimony that leads others to Him. 🔥📖

To God be all the glory! ❤️

“Youth in Sitio Pag-asa • Evangelism & Games • This Saturday • 05/09/2026”

A meaningful day spent in Sitio Pag-asa where the youth came together with one purpose—to share the love of Christ and bring joy to others. This Saturday was filled with simple conversations, heartfelt prayers, and fun-filled games where connections were built and lives were touched. It was a reminder that evangelism doesn’t have to be complicated; sometimes, it starts with a smile, an invitation, or a moment of kindness. As we played, laughed, and encouraged one another, we also grew stronger in faith and unity. Truly, every effort to reach out matters, and every soul is valuable in the eyes of God.

Memory Verse: Zechariah 7:9 — “This is what the Lord Almighty said: ‘Administer true justice; show mercy and compassion to one another.’”
A simple yet powerful reminder that our faith is not only shown in words, but in how we treat others—with fairness, kindness, and a heart full of compassion.

May this day continue to inspire us to boldly share Jesus wherever we go. ✨
