A historic milestone of faith awaits the Roman Catholic Diocese of Cubao this Sunday, May 31, 2026, with the Solemn Episcopal Coronation of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart of the Most Holy Redeemer ParishโBrixton Hill. This sacred event marks a momentous first for the Catholic Church in the Philippines, as she holds the distinct honor of being the very first crowned image of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart in the country.
With this coronation, she beautifully joins the elite and deeply revered ranks of crowned Marian images enshrined within the Diocese of Cubao, standing alongside our historically canonically crowned queens: Nuestra Seรฑora del Santรญsimo Rosario de La Naval de Manila (October 5, 1907), Our Lady of Lourdes of the NATIONAL SHRINE of OUR LADY of LOURDES QUEZON CITY (August 22, 2020), and Our Lady of Mount Carmel of the Minor Basilica of the National Shrine of Our Lady of Mount Carmel (August 15, 2020).
Our local church is profoundly blessed as these holy Coronadas gather together in an unprecedented, historic assembly for the 1st Cubao Grand Marian Procession immediately following the coronation rites. We invite all the faithful, devotees, and Marian delegations to come together this Sunday to witness history unfold, participate in this immense outpouring of grace, and show our collective love for our Blessed Mother.
Viva la Virgen!
