𝐀 𝐇𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐜 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞: 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐋𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐮𝐛𝐚𝐨’𝐬 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐬

A historic milestone of faith awaits the Roman Catholic Diocese of Cubao this Sunday, May 31, 2026, with the Solemn Episcopal Coronation of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart of the Most Holy Redeemer Parish—Brixton Hill. This sacred event marks a momentous first for the Catholic Church in the Philippines, as she holds the distinct honor of being the very first crowned image of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart in the country.

With this coronation, she beautifully joins the elite and deeply revered ranks of crowned Marian images enshrined within the Diocese of Cubao, standing alongside our historically canonically crowned queens: Nuestra Señora del Santísimo Rosario de La Naval de Manila (October 5, 1907), Our Lady of Lourdes of the NATIONAL SHRINE of OUR LADY of LOURDES QUEZON CITY (August 22, 2020), and Our Lady of Mount Carmel of the Minor Basilica of the National Shrine of Our Lady of Mount Carmel (August 15, 2020).

Our local church is profoundly blessed as these holy Coronadas gather together in an unprecedented, historic assembly for the 1st Cubao Grand Marian Procession immediately following the coronation rites. We invite all the faithful, devotees, and Marian delegations to come together this Sunday to witness history unfold, participate in this immense outpouring of grace, and show our collective love for our Blessed Mother.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒|| 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐦 𝐑𝐞: 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠

In celebration of the Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord (Ascension Sunday) and the World Day of Social Communications, members of the Social Communications Ministry were commissioned on May 17, 2026, during the Holy Mass presided over by Rev. Fr. Diony Balute, OCD.

Rev. Fr. Diony reminded the members of Soccom that their ministry is not only about creating content, but also about becoming instruments of evangelization through media and communication. Through their talents and creativity, may they continue to share God’s love, truth, and message of hope to the community.

𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐄𝐋 𝐁𝐔𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐓𝐈𝐍|| 𝐖𝐇𝐘 𝐃𝐎𝐄𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐇𝐔𝐑𝐂𝐇 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐀𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐇𝐎𝐖 𝐖𝐄 𝐂𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐁𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐄?

Yesterday, April 18, the altar servers of the Minor Basilica of the National Shrine of Our Lady of Mount Carmel went to the Diocesan Shrine of Saint Joseph to attend their annual renewal.

The talk emphasized the importance of details and active participation in the mass. The speaker, Marydawn Torreliza, also stressed that altar servers should hold the liturgy in high regard and reverence as the liturgy does not belong to the people, but to Christ. The renewal ended with a group sharing of their personal and general rules of what not to do during the mass, and realizations before and after the talk.
