This is one of the most touching reflections ever. 😭🙏 Thank you for sharing this with us, Sis. Diane Cortiguera! 💞 May He continue to heal and bless you and your family. 🙏
"We live in a broken world where suffering is unavoidable. Pain, loss, and death are realities that every human being must face.
No matter how much we try to protect our loved ones or ourselves, we cannot completely escape these experiences. They remind us that this life, as beautiful as it can be, is also fragile and temporary.
One of the most painful experiences my family faced was the death of my bunsoy at the age of seven. Our world broke into pieces, and we were lost for several months. But despite our brokenness, we were slowly redirected to God, to serve Him and to begin the journey of healing.
Love does not disappear with death; it leaves a mark on our souls and hearts and shapes who we become.
In the midst of suffering and loss, hope becomes essential. Hope reminds us that death is not the final word. If we are truly made for eternity, then our story does not end with the brokenness of this world.
Instead, it continues toward a promise of restoration, healing, and everlasting life.
So while we live in a world where suffering exists, we also live with the hope that we were made for something greater, where pain and death will no longer have the final say.
There, we hold on to the promise that we will meet our loved ones again, my bunsoy especially. For we are made for eternity, we are made for more, and we are made for heaven. ✨🙏"
