This is one of the most touching reflections ever. 😭🙏 Thank you for sharing this with us, Sis. Diane Cortiguera! 💞 May He continue to heal and bless you and your family. 🙏

"We live in a broken world where suffering is unavoidable. Pain, loss, and death are realities that every human being must face.

No matter how much we try to protect our loved ones or ourselves, we cannot completely escape these experiences. They remind us that this life, as beautiful as it can be, is also fragile and temporary.

One of the most painful experiences my family faced was the death of my bunsoy at the age of seven. Our world broke into pieces, and we were lost for several months. But despite our brokenness, we were slowly redirected to God, to serve Him and to begin the journey of healing.

Love does not disappear with death; it leaves a mark on our souls and hearts and shapes who we become.

In the midst of suffering and loss, hope becomes essential. Hope reminds us that death is not the final word. If we are truly made for eternity, then our story does not end with the brokenness of this world.

Instead, it continues toward a promise of restoration, healing, and everlasting life.

So while we live in a world where suffering exists, we also live with the hope that we were made for something greater, where pain and death will no longer have the final say.

There, we hold on to the promise that we will meet our loved ones again, my bunsoy especially. For we are made for eternity, we are made for more, and we are made for heaven. ✨🙏"

God always has a greater purpose and plan for everything. 🥹 Thank you for sharing your highlights with us, Sis. Ali De Leon! 💕

"I could have been somewhere else, but I thank God for calling me not just to serve but also to listen as well. 🥹

I realized that there is so much in this world that is beyond human understanding because God created everything–every cell, every fiber, according to His purpose. 🙏🏻

And for Him to think of me, of creating me, is something I'm so honored about. Imagine, naisip N'ya ako? Pinag-isipan N'ya ako?🥹

Indeed, His thoughts are way greater than mine for me to be stuck to my limiting beliefs. For sure, I'm more than what I thought I could be, because God made me to be more."💕

"'Your mission, ministry, can change your world and the worlds of those around you.'

I like the 'Jewels Chat Time' portion when we went into breakout groups, where we got to listen to the sharing of other attendees. And just as it always is with the other Jewels events I’ve attended in the past—you always end up laughing, learning, crying then laughing again with the wonderful ladies of the Feast. 😂

It was so comforting to be reminded that all of us were made to do the good works that have been planned by the Lord a long time ago. We can nurture one another even amidst our strengths and weaknesses. 🙏🏻

I think as we go on our different paths from that day, we can take each step with the knowledge that Lord—who is our guide—is also the one who made the plan. 🙌🏻

He is able to be present in the people we meet in encounters like these, that can also help sustain us in our daily lives."

We're still overwhelmed at how God spoke to all of us at the gathering last weekend! 💕 Sharing what stood out the most for Sis. Mitch Asprer:

"You cannot change the whole world but you can change your world."

That line is powerful because it shifts the focus from something overwhelming to something purposeful and possible.🙏🏻

“You cannot change the whole world, but you can change your world” reminds us that we are not responsible for fixing everything or everyone. Only God carries that responsibility. 🙏🏻 Our calling is much simpler, yet deeply meaningful: to steward the small circle of influence God has placed in our lives.💗

Sometimes we feel discouraged because the world’s problems seem too big for one person. But real change rarely begins with crowds; it almost always begins with one heart that chooses to change.❤️

Your world may be your family, your community, your small business, or your circle of friends. When you choose to do better, to grow closer to God, and to treat others with the love of Jesus, you are already changing the world—just not all at once. 🌎

Because when one life changes, it touches another… and another… and another.🙏🏻

So we may not change the whole world.
But by allowing God to change us, our world will never be the same. ✨🙏

We are juggling so many roles: work, family, responsibilities, and expectations. Sometimes we measure ourselves by how well we perform those roles, so it was refreshing when I attended yesterday's Jewels Feast Ortigas District event.

The reminder was simple and grounding: Before anything else, we are God’s masterpiece.

Sis Veia, the speaker, shared this beautiful image of gold being purified in fire. Too much heat will destroy it, too little won’t shape it, but the goldsmith knows exactly how much is needed.

And the line that stayed with me: God knows what you are meant to become.

Sometimes the seasons we’re in feel like fire... pressure, doubts, challenges.

But maybe those are also the moments shaping something deeper in us.

So this International Women’s Day, I’m holding onto three reminders:
✨ We are made good
✨ We are made for fullness
✨ We are made for a purpose
✨ We are made for eternity

And maybe the most freeing part is remembering that we don’t have to earn our worth; we already have it.

Happy International Women’s Day to all the amazing women showing up in their own quiet, powerful ways.

Also had such a fun and meaningful conversation with Valerie, whom I met through the EWTN Summer Academy Alumni Network.

We weren’t even batchmates, and it was our first time meeting F2F LOL... but our long talk yesterday carried so much trust and depth, it really felt like God was leading the conversation and stirring up the fire of mission and passion in us. To more conversations like that. ✨

On this International Women's Day (and beyond), may we remember what Sis. Veia Lim-Viñas shared during our "Made for More" special women's gathering:

✨ You are made good.
✨ You are made for fullness.
✨ You are made for a purpose.
✨ You are made for eternity.

Ladies, YOU ARE LOVED. 💗
