Bismillah walhamdulillah, wassalatu wassalamu ‘ala Rasulillah ﷺ
Assalamu'alaykum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu
Friday isn’t just the end of the week — it’s a gift.
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
“The best day the sun rises upon is Friday.”
(Muslim)
It’s a day filled with barakah, forgiveness, and answered du’as — if we learn how to honour it like he ﷺ did.
1. Ghusl (Purifying Bath) Before Jumu‘ah
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Taking a bath on Friday is compulsory for every adult...”
(Bukhari)
It’s not just a physical cleanse — it’s a spiritual reset.
Approach Jumu‘ah fresh, pure, and ready for Allah’s mercy.
2. Reciting Surah Al-Kahf
“Whoever recites Surah Al-Kahf on Friday, a light will shine for him between the two Fridays.”
(Al-Hakim, graded sahih)
Even if you can’t read the whole surah, start with just the first 10 or last 10 verses.
Let that light fill your home and your heart.
3. Sending Salawat Upon the Prophet ﷺ
“Increase your supplications for me on the day and night of Jumu‘ah.”
(Al-Bayhaqi, Hasan)
Say:
اللهم صل على محمد وعلى آل محمد
Allahumma salli ‘ala sayyidina Muhammad wa ‘ala aali Muhammad
Every time you say this, Allah sends mercy upon you in return.
The Hour of Acceptance
There is a time on Friday, the Prophet ﷺ said, in which any du’a is accepted.
He ﷺ said:
“It is a brief period... seek it in the last part of the day after Asr.”
(Abu Dawud)
So sit, raise your hands, and ask. Really ask.
This could be your moment.
Fridays are not for rushing to the weekend.
They’re for returning to Allah.
Let us revive what our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ loved — with sincerity, beauty, and small consistent actions.
May Allah fill your home with light and your heart with Qur’an.
And may you be among those whose du’as are accepted before the sun sets today.
Barakallahu Feekum 🤍
