As Christians, what do we do about Halloween? 🤔

Over the recent years, there have been mixed opinions on how we, as Christians, should view and act with regard to Halloween.
Is it ok to let our children participate in “trick or treats?” Would it be alright if we dress up in costumes “just for fun?”

Then come and join us for this special and timely talk by Dr. Stewart Young this coming October 4, 2025, online via Zoom from 8PM to 10PM, and together let’s finally be in the know of how we as Christians should behave during the Halloween season.

Stewart A. Young, Ph.D. (楊立信) was formerly a faculty at the Department of History and Chinese Studies Program at the Ateneo de Manila University. He holds academic degrees in Biblical Studies, Christian Counseling, Intercultural Studies, and Philippine Studies. Previously, he was involved in basic education for 21 years as a teacher, school administrator, and educational consultant. He is also an ordained pastor (by the United Evangelical Church of the Philippines) and presently serving fulltime as an itinerant speaker and preacher in various Chinese-Filipino churches, fellowships, and retreats.

We are pleased to announce that on September 9, 2023 (Saturday), Carol Magno, a missionary who works with The Global Movement, will teach us about The Prayer Covenant, and how use the 10-lesson curriculum to disciple children.
