The Orionine Charismatic Family, with deep affection and sincere devotion, joins Pope Leo XIV's prayer and message of peace. With renewed trust, the Little Opera of Divine Providence assures its closeness and support to the Holy Father.
Pope Leo XIV, last Saturday on the occasion of the Holy Rosary Prayer to invoke the gift of Peace, wanted to reiterate that “arrogance tramples, love lifts. Idolatry blinds, the living God illuminates. It only takes a little faith, a crumb of faith, my dear ones, to face together, as humanity and with humanity, this dramatic hour of history. Prayer, indeed, is not a shelter to escape from our responsibilities, it is not anesthetic to avoid the pain that so much injustice unleashes. On the contrary, it is the most free, universal and disruptive response to death: we are a people that is already rising! In each of us, in every human being, the inner Master, in fact, teaches peace, suspends meeting, inspires invocation. Let's look up then! Let's rise from the rubble! ”.
“Prayer – the Pope added – educates us to act. The limited human possibilities are combined in prayer with the infinite possibilities of God. Thoughts, words and deeds break, then, the demonic chain of evil and put themselves at the service of the Kingdom of God: a Kingdom in which there is no sword, no drone, no vengeance, no trivialization of evil, no injustice Profit, but only dignity, understanding, forgiveness. We have here an Argin with that rapture of omnipotence that around us is becoming more and more unpredictable and aggressive.
“Balances in the human family - said the Pontfice correctly - are severely destabilized. Even the Holy Name of God, the God of life, is dragged into the talks of death. Then a world of brothers and sisters with one Father in heaven disappears and, like in a nightmare, reality is populated with enemies. Threats are happening everywhere, instead of calls for listening and meeting. Brothers and sisters, those who pray are aware of their limits, they don't kill or threaten death. Instead, death is served those who have turned their backs on the living God, to make of themselves and their own power the mute, blind and deaf idol (cfr Psalm 115,4-8), to sacrifice every value and claim that the whole world bends its knee. Enough with the idolatry of self and money! Enough with the show of strength! Enough with the war! Real strength is manifested in serving life”.
“Let us unite, then, the moral and spiritual energies of millions, billions of men and women, old and young - Pope Prevost said with strength - who today believe in peace, who today choose peace, who heal wounds and repair the damage left by the madness of war. I receive a lot of letters from children from conflict zones: reading them, you perceive, with the truth of innocence, all the horror and inhumanity of actions that some adults boast with pride. Let's listen to the voices of children! ”.
Even on the occasion of the Angelus, the Pope wanted to reiterate that “in a world that so desperately needs peace, this bids us more than ever to be assiduous and faithful to our Eucharistic meeting with the Resurrection, to start again as witnesses of charity and bearers of reconciliation.” Blessed Virgin Mary, help us to do this because she first believed without seeing (cfr Gv 20,29)”.
LA FAMIGLIA CARISMATICA ORIONINA STRETTA ATTORNO A PAPA LEONE XIV, MESSAGGERO DI PACE
La Famiglia Carismatica Orionina, con profondo affetto e sincera devozione, si unisce alla preghiera e al messaggio di pace di Papa Leone XIV. Con rinnovata fiducia, la Piccola Opera della Divina Provvidenza assicura la propria vicinanza e il proprio sostegno al Santo Padre.
Papa Leone XIV, sabato scorso in occasione della Preghiera del Santo Rosario per invocare il dono della Pace ha voluto ribadire come “la prepotenza calpesta, l’amore solleva. L’idolatria acceca, il Dio vivente illumina. Basta un poco di fede, una briciola di fede, carissimi, per affrontare insieme, come umanità e con umanità, quest’ora drammatica della storia. La preghiera, infatti, non è rifugio per sottrarci alle nostre responsabilità, non è anestetico per evitare il dolore che tanta ingiustizia scatena. È invece la più gratuita, universale e dirompente risposta alla morte: siamo un popolo che già risorge! In ognuno di noi, in ogni essere umano, il Maestro interiore insegna infatti la pace, sospinge all’incontro, ispira l’invocazione. Alziamo allora lo sguardo! Rialziamoci dalle macerie!”.
“La preghiera - ha aggiunto il Papa - ci educa ad agire. Le limitate possibilità umane si congiungono nella preghiera alle infinite possibilità di Dio. Pensieri, parole e opere infrangono, allora, la demoniaca catena del male e si mettono a servizio del Regno di Dio: un Regno in cui non c’è spada, né drone, né vendetta, né banalizzazione del male, né ingiusto profitto, ma solo dignità, comprensione, perdono. Abbiamo qui un argine a quel delirio di onnipotenza che attorno a noi si fa sempre più imprevedibile e aggressivo”.
“Gli equilibri nella famiglia umana- ha detto accorato il Pontefice - sono gravemente destabilizzati. Viene trascinato nei discorsi di morte persino il Nome santo di Dio, il Dio della vita. Scompare allora un mondo di fratelli e sorelle con un solo Padre nei cieli e, come in un incubo notturno, la realtà si popola di nemici. Ovunque si avvertono minacce, invece di chiamate all’ascolto e all’incontro. Fratelli e sorelle, chi prega ha coscienza del proprio limite, non uccide e non minaccia la morte. Invece, alla morte è asservito chi ha voltato le spalle al Dio vivente, per fare di sé stesso e del proprio potere l’idolo muto, cieco e sordo (cfr Sal 115,4-8), cui sacrificare ogni valore e pretendere che il mondo intero pieghi il ginocchio. Basta con l’idolatria di sé stessi e del denaro! Basta con l’esibizione della forza! Basta con la guerra! La vera forza si manifesta nel servire la vita”.
“Uniamo, dunque, le energie morali e spirituali di milioni, miliardi di uomini e donne, di anziani e di giovani - ha detto con forza papa Prevost - che oggi credono nella pace, che oggi scelgono la pace, che curano le ferite e riparano i danni lasciati della follia della guerra. Ricevo tante lettere di bambini dalle zone di conflitto: leggendole si percepisce, con la verità dell’innocenza, tutto l’orrore e la disumanità di azioni che alcuni adulti vantano con orgoglio. Ascoltiamo la voce dei bambini!”.
Anche in occasione dell’Angelus il Papa ha voluto ribadire come “in un mondo che ha tanto bisogno di pace, questo ci impegna più che mai ad essere assidui e fedeli al nostro incontro eucaristico con il Risorto, per ripartirne come testimoni di ca**tà e portatori di riconciliazione. Ci aiuti a farlo la Vergine Maria, beata perché, per prima, ha creduto senza vedere (cfr Gv 20,29)”.
