When I received God's salvation, He also saved me from the darkest moments of my life. He rescued me from the habits that made me unproductive.
I realized that laziness and unproductivity are often the result of inner battles that we cannot overcome on our own because we do not know Him.
I grew up longing for the attention and love of my parents, something they could not fully give because they separated when I was only a few months old.
I did everything I thought would satisfy me, relieve my pain, and fill the emptiness within me. But instead, those things slowly destroyed me and distracted me from what truly mattered. Then I encountered people who introduced me to Jesus and shared with me who He truly is. He is not just a God who desires to be worshiped, but a God who can fill the emptiness in our hearts, an emptiness that many people try to fill with the love of others, drugs, money, achievements, fame, or anything this world has to offer.
The more I came to know Him, the more I discovered who I truly am, and the more I discovered my purpose. Know this: Jesus did not come into this world to create a religion, but to restore our relationship with God and our relationships with one another.
As a Christian who knows Jesus personally, I will continue to share His goodness and faithfulness in my life. When we share Him with others, we give them the opportunity to experience the same love, grace, and transformation that we have experienced through Him.
Romans 1:16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.
