Brethren, when the ground shakes beneath us, it reminds us that nothing in this world is unshakable. Earthquakes are not just natural events; they are divine reminders to examine our hearts and walk in holiness, for the Lord is coming soon.
So when the earth trembles, let it stir our spirits to repentance, steadfastness in truth, and faithfulness.
Just as the people once asked Peter and the apostles,
“Men and brethren, what shall we do to be saved?”
Peter answered with the message that still saves today:
“Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” Acts 2:38 (KJV)
This is the Apostolic plan of salvation — to believe in Jesus Christ, to repent, to be baptized in the name of Jesus, and to receive the infilling of the Holy Ghost.
