𝐇𝐎𝐖 𝐓𝐎 𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐋𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐑𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐄𝐅𝐔𝐋𝐋𝐘

Correction is part of every ministry. Whether you're a worship leader, instrumentalist, tech, or volunteer, feedback will come. And how you respond to correction says more about your character than your talent ever could.

So the question is: 𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞, 𝐨𝐫 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝?

Here are some reflections on how to develop a teachable spirit and receive correction with grace:

𝑫𝒐𝒏’𝒕 𝒕𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒊𝒕 𝒂𝒔 𝒂𝒏 𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒂𝒄𝒌—𝒕𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒊𝒕 𝒂𝒔 𝒂 𝒈𝒊𝒇𝒕
Feedback feels painful at times, but it’s one of God’s tools to help you grow.
Sabi sa Proverbs 12:1: “Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but whoever hates correction is stupid.” (Sakit di ba, pero totoo.)
If someone corrects you with sincerity, it means they believe in your potential.

𝑷𝒂𝒖𝒔𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒑𝒐𝒏𝒅
Normal lang ma-offend, lalo na kapag passionate ka sa ginagawa mo.
But before you defend yourself, pause.
Ask yourself:
“𝑀𝑎𝑦 𝑝𝑜𝑖𝑛𝑡 𝑏𝑎 𝑠𝑖𝑦𝑎?”
“𝐴𝑚 𝐼 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑐𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑜𝑓 𝑝𝑟𝑖𝑑𝑒 𝑜𝑟 ℎ𝑢𝑚𝑖𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑦?”
Not every correction is perfectly delivered but a humble heart can still learn from it.

𝑺𝒂𝒚 “𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒌 𝒚𝒐𝒖” 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒎𝒆𝒂𝒏 𝒊𝒕
Even if it stung, say thank you.
It doesn’t mean agree ka agad, but it shows you value feedback.
Maturity is seen not in how well you perform, but in how well you receive guidance.

𝑫𝒐𝒏’𝒕 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒂𝒄𝒄𝒆𝒑𝒕 𝒄𝒐𝒓𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒍𝒚 𝒊𝒕.
Teachable people don’t stop at “Oo nga po.”
They ask: “Anong pwede kong baguhin?”
Kung sinabi na late ka lagi, ayusin ang time management.
Kung sabing masyado kang malakas at nakasigaw sa mic, practice volume control.
Ang tunay na growth, may ebidensya.

𝑲𝒆𝒆𝒑 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒕 𝒔𝒐𝒇𝒕
Kapag nasanay ka nang laging defensive, unti-unti kang hindi na matuturuan.
At kapag hindi ka na matuturuan, hindi ka na lalaki sa calling mo.
God promotes those who remain humble and correctable.

In ministry, we don’t just build songs, we build souls.
And sometimes, 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐚 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐥 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫.
Correction is not something to fear. It’s something to steward.
𝙇𝙚𝙩 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙧𝙚𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪, 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙙𝙚𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪.

The most powerful prayers aren't heard in conferences, but in quiet moments when no one is watching.
That's where true revival begins; not in a program, but in a heart that truly longs for God.

Pumunta lang ako sa church para kumuha ng gamit sa music booth.

Tahimik. Akala ko walang tao.

But there she was, a mother, at the altar.
Alone. Weeping. Whispering her prayers with a trembling voice.

Walang music. Walang spotlight. Walang programa. Walang audience. Pero may pag-iyak. May paghingi. May pagsuko.

And i realized

Minsan, ang pinakamakapangyarihang panalangin ay hindi maririnig sa conference, kundi sa mga panahong walang nakatingin.

At doon nagsisimula ang tunay na revival hindi sa programa, kundi sa puso.
