On May 24, we remember the memorial of Saint Joanna, one of the faithful women who accompanied and served Jesus during His ministry. As the wife of Chuza, steward of King Herod, she courageously used her position and resources to support Christ and His disciples.

Saint Joanna remained faithful through the Passion of Jesus and was among the holy women who witnessed the events surrounding His Death and Resurrection. She was also one of the women who went to the tomb on Easter morning and became among the first witnesses to the Risen Christ.

May her life inspire us to serve the Lord with courage, fidelity, and unwavering faith. πŸ™βœ¨

We remember the faithful witness of Saint Matthias, whose feast was celebrated last May 14. Chosen by the Apostles after the Resurrection, Saint Matthias became one of the Twelve and continued the mission entrusted by Jesus Christ β€” proclaiming the Gospel and bearing witness to His Passion, Death, and Resurrection.

Tradition tells us that Saint Matthias preached courageously and later suffered martyrdom for the faith, being killed for remaining loyal to Christ until the end. May his example inspire us to stay faithful and steadfast in following the Lord. πŸ™

Today, May 3, we celebrate the feast of Saint Philip the Apostle and Saint James the Lessβ€”faithful Apostles of Christ who witnessed His ministry and shared in proclaiming the Good News.

Saint Philip, who brought others to Jesus, reminds us of the call to lead souls to Christ, especially in moments of doubt and searching. Saint James the Less, known for his steadfast faith and leadership in the early Church, stands as a pillar of the Christian community after the Resurrection.

Both Apostles remained faithful through the mystery of Jesus’ Passion, Death, and Resurrectionβ€”testifying that suffering leads to glory, and death to new life. Their lives inspire us to remain firm in faith, even in trials, and to boldly proclaim the Risen Lord.

Saints Philip and James, pray for us!

Today, April 27, we honor the memory of Saint Simeon of Jerusalem β€” a faithful witness of the early Church and a relative of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Saint Simeon was known as a cousin of Jesus, being the son of Clopas, who is believed to be the brother of Saint Joseph. His mother is traditionally identified as Mary of Clopas, one of the holy women present at the foot of the Cross.

After the martyrdom of Saint James, Simeon became the second Bishop of Jerusalem, guiding the Christian community with courage and faith during times of persecution. He remained steadfast until his own martyrdom at an old age.

May his life remind us to stay faithful to Christ, even in trials. πŸ™

Today, April 24, we remember Saint Mary Salome and Saint Mary of Clopasβ€”faithful women who stood by Jesus Christ during His Passion, witnessed His Crucifixion, and were among those who first proclaimed His Resurrection.

As mothersβ€”Mary Salome to James and John, and Mary Jacobe to James the Less and Josephβ€”their lives remind us of steadfast faith, courage, and devotion in following Christ until the very end.

On this April 19, we honor the Myrrhbearersβ€”faithful women who stood by Christ with courage and love. Among them is Susanna of Galilee, mentioned in Gospel of Luke 8:1–3, one of the women who followed Jesus and supported His ministry from her own means. Though little is known about her, her quiet generosity and devotion remind us that even humble service is precious in God’s eyes.
