𝐒𝐉𝐁𝐏𝐘𝐌 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐬 𝐁𝐎𝐘𝐌 𝐆𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠

The Youth Ministry of St. John the Baptist Parish conducted a Basic Orientation on Youth Ministry (BOYM) gathering with the theme “Youth in Mission” on May 2, 2026, at the Parish Social Hall.

A total of forty (40) youth participated in the activity. The session included discussion on the realities of today's youth and the Filipino Catholic Youth and the Filipino Catholic Youth Ministry. It also served as an avenue for the youth to reflect on and share their present realities.

𝐒𝐉𝐁𝐏𝐘𝐌 𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐃𝐒 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐍 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 2026

The Youth Ministry of St. John the Baptist Parish held its Youth Lenten Recollection with the theme “𝑷𝒂𝒈𝒑𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒐𝒏𝒈” on March 28, 2026, at the Ang Dios Gugma Prayer House, Brgy. Balcon Maravilla, Jordan, Guimaras.

Ms. Philin Jane C. Sagre, a senior member of the youth ministry, served as the resource speaker during the morning session, inspiring attendees with her insights and personal testimony.

The recollection provided participants with the opportunity to reflect on both their personal journey and their experiences in the ministry as they continue to serve. It also allowed them to deepen their faith and renew their commitment during this sacred season of preparation and repentance.

𝐒𝐉𝐁𝐏𝐘𝐌 𝐉𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐒 𝐕𝐈𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐄𝐒 𝐃𝐄 𝐃𝐎𝐋𝐎𝐑𝐄𝐒 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐂𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍

The youth ministry of St. John the Baptist Parish joined in the Viernes de Dolores (Friday of Sorrows) procession on March 27, 2026.

The procession included the Via Crucis (“Way of the Cross”), a 14-station devotion where devotees reflect on the suffering and death of Jesus Christ.

𝗩𝗶𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗱𝗲 𝗗𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀 is a religious observance that honors the sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary as she prepared to witness the suffering and crucifixion of her Son, Jesus Christ.

The youth of St. John the Baptist Parish gathered today for their Sunday Reflection.

In today’s Gospel, Jesus heals a man who was born blind and shows that He is the light of the world. Through this miracle, we are reminded that Jesus helps us see the truth and guides us in our faith.

Like the blind man who believed in the Lord, we are invited to trust Jesus and allow His light to lead our lives.

May we continue to ask the Lord to open our eyes and hearts so that we may always recognize His presence and walk in His light.

The youth of St. John the Baptist Parish gathered today for their Sunday Reflection.

In today’s Gospel, Jesus reminds us that following Him is not only about avoiding wrong actions, but about having pure and loving hearts. He teaches that anger, impure thoughts, and dishonesty begin within us. He calls us to live with sincerity and truth, letting our “Yes” mean “Yes” and our “No” mean “No.”

We are reminded that God looks beyond our outward actions and sees our hearts. Jesus invites us to choose forgiveness over anger, purity over temptation, and honesty over lies.

May we ask the Lord to guide us each day, helping us to live with sincere hearts and faithful actions.
