LOOK: A Fruitful Harvest at Ecojustice Farm, Masbate! 👀🥬🫑🥒🍆🌶️

The Ecojustice Farm in Masbate conducted a bountiful harvest that has become a source of blessings for the entire community. Through the collective efforts, cooperation, and determination of everyone involved, this success was made possible. Most importantly, the harvest has reached those who need it most—the senior citizens, individuals suffering from malnutrition, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and families living in extreme poverty.🌱🍃

LOOK: YIFI national president Koko Alviar visits the Ecojustice Farm (Ecofarm) in the Pio V. Corpus parish of the Diocese of Masbate!🌱☘️🥗

On March 8-9, 2025, the Ecofarm local coordinator, the DYEC and PYEC of YIFI, and members of WOPIC welcomed Kuya Koko, as well as national project coordinator Deacon Joseph Ramiterre and Bro. Dirk Jakob Reinhardt, a young person from project partner the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Northern Germany.

The group met the local stakeholders to share how the project has been doing nationwide, including in four other sites; introduce the Ecofarm Guidebook and Toolkit; and facilitate the creation of a Plan of Action for upcoming activities.

The gathering equipped the participants with the knowledge to manage the farm in the service of the community and for the health of the planet.

The youth of the Diocese of Masbate expressed their gratitude for the opportunity given to them, saying that the project would help them empower the locals build resilient communities and raise brave ecojustice advocates.
