Warmth can be Treachery
30 April 2026

Dear friends, today Jesus invites humility and trust in a world of betrayal. The reminder that 'the one who ate my food has raised his heel against me' exposes our human frailty: warmth can turn to treachery. Yet the counterpromise—'whoever receives me receives the one who sent me'—reframes power: true honor comes from receiving the messenger who bears the Sender's authority, not from smooth companionship. Choose fidelity over fear.

Jesus is our Light
29 April 2026

Dear friends, in today’s gospel, Jesus cries out: “Whoever believes in me believes not only in me but also in the one who sent me. I have come as light into the world, so that everyone who believes in me might not remain in darkness.” In a world full of confusion and shadows, Christ is the true Light. He does not speak on his own but as the Father commanded Him. Everything He says brings eternal life. Let us live every decision, word, and action under the light of Jesus. Reject the darkness of sin and fear. Walk in His truth, guided by His Word, so that our lives may glorify the Father and lead us to salvation.

Unity, Safety, and Keeping
28 April 2026

Dear friends, today’s gospel unfolds a festival crowd pressing to know Jesus. He declines a direct messiah claim, saying the hour has not yet come and that his works testify him. He guards his true identity until the Father’s timing. Those who cling to evil leaders prefer darkness; they reject the truth. For his sheep, the Father and he reveal unity, safety, and keeping—no one can sn**ch them from the Father’s hand.

Christ’s Love is Costly
27 April 2026

Dear friends, today’s gospel speaks: I am the good shepherd who lays down my life for the sheep. A hired hand may flee when danger arises, for his care is contingent on coins and comfort. But Christ’s love is costly and constant; he risks all for us. Let us hear his call not as payment, but as invitation to trust, follow, and become shepherds of mercy who safeguard one another in Christ.

The Command
25 April 2026

Dear friends, Christ commands us to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. In this commission, fear yields to faith, and doubt gives way to obedience. The risen Lord accompanies our steps, confirms our message with signs, and invites us to baptize believers in His name. Let urgency shape days: share hope, serve the vulnerable, embody mercy, so the world may encounter Jesus and believe His power.

A Deeper Eucharistic Devotion
24 April 2026

Dear friends, Jesus invites us to encounter Him in the bread and wine, not as a symbol but as living food. Some grumbled, yet He presses: whoever eats this bread will have eternal life. Our challenge is growing a deeper Eucharistic devotion—attentive reception, prayerful thanksgiving, and daily remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice. Let the Eucharist shape our choices, sustain our love, and bind us to the poor and hungry.

Jesus, the Bread of Life
22 April 2026

Dear friends, Jesus declares, I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst. We see the invitation to receive Him in the Eucharist who nourishes the soul unto eternal life. Let our reception of the Body and Blood deepen faith, forgive our sins, unite us to the Father, and empower us to live as children of light.

Hunger for Christ
21 April 2026

Dear friends, Jesus declares, ‘I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty’ (Jn 6:35). He promises to raise up on the last day all whom the Father gives Him. In a world chasing fleeting pleasures, let us fix our eyes on this eternal Bread. True holiness is not self-effort but daily hunger for Christ alone. Come to Him, believe, and be made holy forever.

Meals that Sustain our Souls
20 April 2026

Dear friends, in today’s gospel, Jesus reminds us that earthly meals are urgent, yet they point to a deeper hunger. The crowds seek signs, and He invites them to work for the food that endures—the gift the Son of Man gives. Let our feeding program be faithful service, not spectacle. Yet do not neglect the Eucharist, for it alone grants eternal life and sustains our souls toward the Father, and eternal joy.

Jesus Comes Unbidden
18 April 2026

Dear friends, in the Gospel, the disciples battle a stormy sea at night, fear gripping their hearts. Suddenly, Jesus walks on the water, declaring, "It is I; do not be afraid." They reach safety at once. Beloved, in our darkest hours—grief, doubt, or turmoil—Jesus appears, calming the waves. His presence consoles us, turning terror to peace. Trust: He comes unbidden, whispering hope amid the gale.

Hunger for Jesus
17 April 2026

Dear friends, in today’s Gospel, Jesus feeds the five thousand with five loaves and two fish. Yet the crowd wanted more bread for their stomachs. Feeding miracles and dole-outs are often misconstrued as mere political acts or vote-buying gestures. That is why Jesus did not stop there. He introduced the Eucharist — His own Body and Blood as the true Bread of Life. Not temporary relief, but eternal nourishment. Not for the belly alone, but for the heart and soul. Let us hunger for Him who truly satisfies.

From Above
16 April 2026

Dear friends, Jesus speaks of what is from above and what is from earth. Imagine a lighthouse: its light comes from a higher place, guiding ships safely to shore. So Jesus comes from above, revealing truth that saves. Those who listen and believe receive life; those who ignore him miss the harbor of God’s mercy. Choose belief, receive life, and let God's love steer your days toward eternal shore, with steady hope.
