In times of calamity, we turn not to fear—but to faith.

Lord, protect our homes, calm the raging winds, and strengthen our hearts.
Through the intercession of Our Lady of Perpetual Help and Saint Medard, shield us from every storm and flood.

“Even the winds and the sea obey Him.” — Matthew 8:27 🌊✨

On the holy night of Easter… when the world rejoiced in tranquility, basking in the glory of Jesus Christ's triumph… A miraculous event unfolded… in a vintage cemetery shrouded in mystery.

On this Good Friday morning, we come before You, Lord, in reverence and awe, remembering Your sacrifice.

In the stillness, we acknowledge Your triumph not in spite of suffering, but because of it—Your glory not despite the cross, but because of Your unwavering commitment.

Jesus, Your path was one of profound love, bearing the weight of our transgressions, our pride, and our silence. As we stand at the foot of Your Cross, teach us the depth of love that sometimes requires great sacrifice, love that bleeds, love that breaks, yet remains steadfast.

Forgive us for choosing comfort over truth and silence over courage. In the quiet of this day, let us truly feel the weight of Your sacrifice, remember the price paid for us, and let it be a turning point.

Break within us what needs to be broken, that we might rise anew, offering You our pain, guilt, and longing, trusting in Your eternal mercy. Amen.

On a quiet Tuesday evening in Holy Week, Jesus withdrew to the Mount of Olives, overlooking Jerusalem, accompanied only by His four closest disciples. In that stillness, they asked Him, “What will be the sign of Your coming and of the end of the age?” (Matthew 24:3)

He answered not with comfort, but with warning. Deceivers would rise, cloaked as messiahs, leading many astray. Nations would clash, the earth itself would tremble, and His followers would face suffering. Yet He framed it plainly: “All these are but the beginning of birth pains.” (Matthew 24:8)

Then, He lifted their gaze beyond the chaos. He spoke of a return unmistakable and sovereign: “The Son of Man will come on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. He will send His angels with a loud trumpet, and they will gather His elect from the four winds.” (Matthew 24:30–31)

Still, He cautioned them against certainty where none was given. “But about that day or hour no one knows—not even the angels in heaven, but only the Father.” (Matthew 24:36)
Centuries later, the Nicene Creed continues to echo this promise, recited week after week: He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and His kingdom will have no end.
