Imagine standing before Jesus one day…

𝑯𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒂𝒔𝒌,

“How many sermons did you hear?”

𝑵𝒐𝒕…

“How many Sundays did you attend?”

𝑩𝑼𝑻…

Will you be able to say that you were faithful in sharing the Gospel He entrusted to you?

Last Sunday, through the preaching of Pastor John Louie Taguinod, we were reminded that the Christian life was never meant to end with us.

The Great Commission wasn’t given to pastors alone.
It wasn’t reserved for missionaries.
It wasn’t limited to church leaders.

𝑰𝒕 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒐 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒃𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓.

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations…”

The Gospel reached you because someone obeyed.

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗛𝗨𝗥𝗖𝗛 𝗪𝗔𝗦 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗛 𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗘—𝗜𝗦 𝗜𝗧 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗛 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗘 ? ❤️‍🔥

A truth that echoed from the pulpit last Sunday through the preaching of 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗟𝗼𝘂𝗶𝗲 𝗧𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗱.

We make time for what we treasure.
We show up for what we value.
We stay committed to what we love.

So when did church become something we attend only when it is convenient?

𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹.

“Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;”
— 𝗘𝗽𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝟱:𝟮𝟱 𝗞𝗝𝗩

He loved the Church.
He gave Himself for the Church.
He paid the price for the Church.

𝗛𝗲 𝗴𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲—𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲.

𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.
