Pagmamahal ba sa Diyos itong gagawin ko?

Matthew 22:37-38 (NIV)
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.

Andami nating choices.diba?
• Magpo-post ba ako ng ganito?
• Sasama ba ako sa lakad na ‘to?
• Manliligaw ba ako kahit alam kong hindi pa ito time ni Lord?
• Gagawa ba ako ng shortcut sa school/work?

Kaya bago magdesisyon, tanungin nating ang sarili:

Will this bring glory to God or just glory to myself?

Am I doing this because I love Him or because I want to please others?
Pagmamahal ba sa Diyos itong gagawin ko?

Sa FAMILY
Napapansin mong may hindi pagkakaunawaan sa bahay. May nasabi si mama/tatay na hindi mo nagustuhan. Gusto mo na lang sabayan ng sigaw o sabihan ng masasakit na salita.

Pagmamahal ba sa Diyos itong isasagot ko sa magulang ko?

Ang pagmamahal sa Diyos ay naipapakita sa paggalang at pagpapasensya sa pamilya, kahit minsan mahirap.

Ephesians 6:1-2
Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 'Honor your father and mother' which is the first commandment with a promise.

Sa SCHOOL/ WORK
May chance kang manggaya sa project o magpasa ng hindi ikaw ang gumawa. Easy win. Walang makakahuli.

Pagmamahal ba sa Diyos itong gagawin ko para lang makalusot?

Integrity ang ina-honor ni Lord, hindi shortcuts.

May napansin kang unfair practice sa team — may isang coworker na palaging late pero tinatakpan ng isa pang teammate na close sa TL. Nakikita mo na naapektuhan ang ibang kasamahan at ang team performance, pero ayaw mong matawag na “sip-sip” o “pakialamero.”

Pagmamahal ba sa Diyos itong pananahimik ko, o pinoprotektahan ko lang ang sarili ko?

Makakatulong ba ito sa ikabubuti ng team, o magdadala ng lamat sa relasyon?
Ang pagmamahal sa Diyos ay hindi lang tahimik na panalangin — minsan, pagpapakatotoo rin ito sa tama kahit uncomfortable.

Proverbs 10:9
Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out.

Sa MINISTRY / CHURCH
Napipilitan ka na lang mag-serve sa church, at parang ginagawa mo na lang ito para sa tao or para mapansin.

Pagmamahal ba sa Diyos ang nagmo-motivate sa service ko, o gusto ko lang ng appreciation?

God looks at the heart. Hindi Siya after sa performance kundi sa worship mo through service.

Colossians 3:23-24
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.

Sa RELATIONSHIP
May nanliligaw o nililigawan ka na hindi believer, o alam mong hindi pa ito 'God's timing' pero gusto mo ng kilig.

Pagmamahal ba sa Diyos itong relasyon na pinapasok ko?

Kung ang relasyon ay maglalayo sa'yo kay Lord, then it’s not love — it’s distraction.

2 Corinthians 6:14
Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?

Sa SOCIAL MEDIA
Nag-iisip kang mag-post ng content na medyo daring, sarcastic, or pa-trending, kahit alam mong hindi ito nagpapakita ng good testimony bilang Christian.

Pagmamahal ba sa Diyos itong post na ‘to?

Kung si Jesus ang unang makakakita ng feed mo, would you still post it?

1 Corinthians 10:31 (NIV)
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

Ang pagmamahal kay Lord hindi lang sa salita, kundi sa bawat bahagi ng buhay natin — sa pamilya, trabaho, ministry, relasyon, at social media. Ang tunay na pagmamahal sa Diyos ay makikita sa mga desisyon at actions natin, pati na rin sa mga choices na ginagawa natin kahit walang nakakakita. Huwag tayong mag-settle sa mga madaling way o pa-trending na bagay. Ang goal natin ay magbigay kaluwalhatian kay Lord sa lahat ng ginagawa natin.

Mahal mo ba si Lord? Ipakita mo sa bawat galak, hamon, at mga pagkakataon na dumadaan sa buhay mo. Huwag matempt sa shortcuts, pakitang-tao, o mga bagay na maglalayo sa’yo kay Jesus. Kung tunay ang pagmamahal natin kay Lord, gagawin natin ang tama — hindi dahil sa tao, kundi para sa Kanya.

“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”

-being young is not an excuse to be careless in our service. God calls us to live as an example and serve Him with sincerity and commitment.

1. Serve God because you belong to Him
Romans 12:1
Corinthians 6:19-20
**Our service should begin with surrender, not with wanting a position. We don’t serve because we want to be noticed. We serve because God has already given Himself for us, and pur lives belong to Him.

2. Serve God Faithfully, Not just when you’re Hype
1 Timothy 4:14-16
**use your gifts/talents
**show visible progress (requires consistency and growth)
**watch life and doctrine (stay faithful)

Hype is a feeling, Faithfulness is a commitment

3. Serve God for His Glory, not for people’s approval

God doesn’t just love you—He makes promises to you. These aren’t empty words; every promise is a guarantee from God Himself. No matter what you are going through right now—stress, fear, loneliness, or uncertainty—God has given you promises that you can hold onto

1. I WILL BE WITH YOU
📖 Joshua 1:9
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go".

✓God is right beside you—at school, at home, with friends, when you’re alone, when you’re happy, and when you’re sad. You are never truly alone. He goes with you everywhere.

2. I will protect you.
📖Psalms 91:11 “For he will order his
angels to protect you wherever you go”
✓God watches over you. He keeps you safe from harm and danger. Even when you can’t see it—He is protecting you. You can trust Him to keep you safe

3. I will give you strength.
📖 Isaiah 40:29
✓He gives strength to those who are tired. He gives power to those who are weak.
📖 Isaiah 41:10
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
✓When you feel tired, weak, or like you can’t keep going—God gives HIS strength to you. Your weakness is the perfect place for God to show His power. When you can’t stand on your own, He holds you up.

4. I will lead you
📖 ISAIAH 30:21
“If you go the wrong way to the right or to the left you will hear a voice behind you saying, “This is the right way. You should go this way."
✓God promises to guide you. When you read His Word and pray, He shows you the right path. He will never lead you the wrong way

5. I will answer you
📖 Jeremiah 33:3
“Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known."
✓When you pray—God listens AND answers. He may not always answer exactly when or how you expect, but He always hears you and will respond. Pray with confidence, knowing He is listening.

6. I will pick you up when you fall.
📖 Psalms 34:19
“The righteous person faces many troubles, but the LORD comes to the rescue each time”
✓You will make mistakes. You will face hard times. But God promises—when you fall, He lifts you up. When you fail, He doesn’t leave you down. He rescues you, forgives you, and helps you start again

7. I will never leave you
📖 Hebrews 13:5
“I will never leave you nor forsake you”
✓Nothing you do, nothing that happens, will ever make God leave you. He is with you forever. Yesterday, today, tomorrow, and always—He will never leave your side.

2 TRUTH TO REMEMBER
1. 📖Deuteronomy 31:6
"When we trust in God's promise, we find the strength to stand strong, knowing He is with us every step of the way."

Trusting His promises means being strong. You can stand firm because He is with you.

2. God ALWAYS keeps His word
📖 Psalm 145:13
"The LORD will keep all His promises. He is faithful in everything He does."

God never lies. God never forgets. God never fails. If He said it, He will do it.
