𝐒𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐆𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧.

Above all presents and wishes we get this Christmas and the precious time spent on loved ones, may we never fail to remember the true heart of our celebration—𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒓 𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒐𝒑 𝒐𝒇 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒄𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒎𝒂𝒔 𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒆, 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑴𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒂𝒉, 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑳𝒐𝒓𝒅.

Often, when life is stable, things are figured out, and resources are sufficient, we find it so easy to lean on these things that sometimes, 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘦𝘵𝘭𝘺 𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘥𝘦𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘰𝘯 𝘎𝘰𝘥.

But when comfort is stripped away, where do we rely on?

Truth is, God wants us to have an abundant life, but sometimes, our hearts aren’t aligned with His. And that’s when God lovingly strips us of our comfort so our dependence shifts.

And as difficult as it may be, there is beauty in this process. 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐝, 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡. Gently bringing us back to the truth that God Himself is enough—𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙩𝙝 𝙤𝙛 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧.

𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐧?

In a world where people constantly seek validation and belonging, it is truly life-changing to realize that God Himself has already chosen us—intentionally, personally, and lovingly.

When Jesus said, “𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘔𝘦, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘐 𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘰 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘣𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘧𝘳𝘶𝘪𝘵—𝘧𝘳𝘶𝘪𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘵,” He reminded us that our worth and purpose are not rooted in our abilities but in His calling. Even when we feel uncertain, unworthy, or weak, 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡.

He chose us not only to receive His love but to reflect it through faith, kindness, obedience, and a life that bears lasting fruit. Saying “yes” to God allows Him to shape, guide, and fulfill His purpose in us.

𝑨𝒏𝒅 𝒚𝒆𝒔, 𝒊𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒍𝒚 𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒛𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆 𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒔𝒆𝒏 𝒃𝒚 𝑮𝒐𝒅.

𝑰 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒍𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒐 𝒚𝒐𝒖.
When life feels too much and your heart longs to cry out,
𝑰 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒍𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒐 𝒚𝒐𝒖.
When pain steals your voice and you can only whisper your hurts,
𝑰 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒍𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒐 𝒚𝒐𝒖.
And even when all that’s left are tears and silent sobs,
𝑰 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒍𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒐 𝒚𝒐𝒖.

You may ask, “𝘞𝘩𝘺 𝘮𝘦, 𝘓𝘰𝘳𝘥? 𝘈𝘮 𝘐 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘭𝘺 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘯?”

But did you know? Before you even spoke those words, He thought of you first.
𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐬𝐞𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠.
He loves you with an everlasting love.

You may ask, “𝘐𝘴 𝘪𝘵 𝘢 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘐’𝘮 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦?”

But God never makes mistakes.
He never does anything by accident.
Every detail of your life has purpose.
He created you with His unconditional Love—𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞.

You may ask, “𝘞𝘩𝘺 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘎𝘰𝘥 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘢𝘺?”

But remember this: You are who you are for His reason.
You are a vital part of His detailed plan—
𝐰𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫, and lovingly shaped to grow into His likeness.

So rest, child,
There may be many questions right now, but let this truth settle in your heart: 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘𝒏, 𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒔𝒆𝒏, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒅𝒆𝒆𝒑𝒍𝒚 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒅.

So often, our hearts run ahead into tomorrow or get stuck looking back at yesterday. But Jesus gently reminds us: “𝘋𝘰 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘺 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘰𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘰𝘸… 𝘌𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘦𝘯𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘰𝘸𝘯”. When we worry, we miss out on the gift of today. When we hold on to unforgiveness, we allow the past to steal our present joy.

God revealed Himself as “𝐈 𝐀𝐦”—not “I was” or “I will be.” 𝘏𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘶𝘴, 𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙣𝙤𝙬. Every breath, every sunrise, every chance to start fresh is His invitation to live fully in His presence.

Today is the Lord’s gift to you. 𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒅𝒐𝒏’𝒕 𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒓𝒚 𝒚𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒅𝒂𝒚’𝒔 𝒃𝒖𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒔 𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒐𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒓𝒐𝒘’𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒙𝒊𝒆𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒔. 𝑰𝒏𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒂𝒅, 𝒍𝒆𝒕 𝒕𝒐𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝒃𝒆 𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒌𝒆𝒅 𝒃𝒚 𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆, 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒔𝒕.

July placed me in the most uncomfortable situations—it humbled me, broke me, and even used the people I love to refine me. It changed the way I saw things, turning my perspective upside down.

Then August came, which gave me a glimpse of hope. It felt like a breath of rest, a gentle reminder that I am not always imprisoned in the gray moments of July. And yet, I realized both months came from the same God—𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘖𝘯𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘖𝘯𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘪𝘯 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘭.

That’s who God is, both wrathful and loving. It might sound confusing, but that’s the very character of God I’ve been experiencing these past few months. One thing I’m now sure of is that His character does not change with our seasons. 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐢𝐧 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐲 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞, 𝐇𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐆𝐨𝐝.

𝐒𝐢𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠—𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐨 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐭.

Through Scripture, God has made His will known to us. We weren’t left alone in the dark. The Holy Spirit dwells within us to guide, correct, and teach us. And when we knowingly choose to disobey God, that’s when we fall into sin.

Yet, here’s the beauty of the gospel: 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘸𝘦 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘭, 𝘎𝘰𝘥’𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘮𝘴 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘢𝘪𝘯 𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘯. His Word promises us that when we confess our sins, He is faithful to forgive us. He will wipe our slate clean and will no longer count our sins against us. And as the song declares, “𝑴𝒚 𝒔𝒊𝒏 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒈𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕, 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒈𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓!”.

‎Kalahati na ng taon ang nagdaan—kumusta ka na?
‎
‎Naaalala mo pa ba ’yong una mong encounter sa Lord? Pagtaas ng mga kamay mo sa worship? Init mo sa panalangin?
‎
‎Tila ang dami ng nagbago... ’Di na tulad ng dati ang alab at apoy mo para sa Kan’ya.
‎
‎Nasaktan?
‎Napagod?
‎Nawala ang linang ng mata sa dapat lakaran?
‎
‎At ngayon, sa katahimikan ng puso mong pagod,
‎May paanyaya pa rin: “Anak, p’wede pa.
‎P’wede pang magsimula ulit”.
‎
‎Hindi naman mahalaga kung gaano ka na kalamig at kalayo—
‎Ang mahalaga ay makabalik.
‎Kaya, sige na... lapit ka na.
‎
‎Hindi mo naman kailangan buuin muna ang sarili mo bago ka lumapit.
‎Hindi mo kailangang punan lahat ng pagkukulang mo bago ka bumalik.
‎Hindi mo kailangang maging okay para maramdaman mong mahal ka pa rin Niya.
‎
‎Sa totoo lang, sa bawat luha mong ’di na maipaliwanag,
‎Sa bawat gabing puno ng tanong,
‎Sa bawat paglalakad mong tila mag-isa—
‎Kasama mo Siya—’di ka Niya iniwan.
‎
‎Ang yakap ng Ama ay bukas pa rin,
‎Ang tahanan ay ’di nagsara,

‎Hindi ko alam kung paano magsimula ulit.
Pero gusto kong matutuhan.
‎Gusto kong subukan.
‎Kahit mabagal.
‎𝙆𝙖𝙝𝙞𝙩 𝙢𝙖𝙝𝙞𝙧𝙖𝙥.
‎
‎Hindi ko man makita ngayon ang kasagutan,
‎Basta ang Salita Mo’y nand’yan — ’yon ang panghahawakan.
‎Bubuksan ko muli ang pahina,
‎At sa Iyo ako muling magsisimula.
‎
‎Mahal na mahal pa rin Kita.
‎At alam ko na higit sa pagmamahal ko sa’Yo ang pag-ibig Mo para sa ’kin.
‎Mahina man ako ngayon,

𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞’𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨’𝐬 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞—𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘴, 𝘮𝘺 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘴.

It’s so easy to doubt.
To go into flight mode when faced with fears.
To get lost in His promises when the waiting stretches too long.
To retreat, forgetting that the battle was already won.

I’ve realised that faith doesn’t always come wrapped in strength. But in this moment, the answer to this question, “Is anything too hard for the Lord?” becomes more real. 𝑵𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈. 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒘𝒆𝒓 𝒊𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈. 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐦𝐲 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐬, 𝐢𝐭 𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐧’𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐞.

Perhaps the question isn’t about His power, but about my trust; it isn’t a question for Him, but for me. For the part of me that is still afraid to believe. Still hesitant to hope again.
