🌅 GO FIRST | Before the Grind

We make plans. We set priorities. We prepare for the week ahead.

But sometimes, nauuna na talaga ang plano bago natin itanong:

“Lord, what do You want me to do?”

Surrender doesn't mean we stop planning. It means we plan with open hands, trusting God to redirect us when He knows a better way.

📖 “Teach me to do your will, for you are my God!” — Psalm 143:10

Plan faithfully. Work diligently. But let God lead. 🤍

"Bitterness occupies space that was meant for God's peace."

Can I ask you something?

Meron bang tao na hanggang ngayon, hirap ka parin na patawarin?

Forgiveness doesn't mean pretending nothing happened.

It doesn't mean the pain wasn't real.

It simply means choosing not to let someone else's actions continue to control your heart.

Because every day we hold on to bitterness...

It occupies space that was meant for God's peace.

Maybe today, God isn't asking you to fix the whole relationship.

Maybe He's simply asking you to take the first step.

📖 "Forgive one another, as God in Christ forgave you." — Ephesians 4:32

May God heal the places that still hurt, and give us the grace to forgive as we have been forgiven.

Can I ask you something?

Kung may magre-record ng lahat ng sinabi mo kahapon... would it sound like someone who's walking closely with Jesus?

Ouch.

Napaisip din ako diyan.

The truth is, our words don't just reveal our personality...

They reveal our hearts.

When our hearts are full of God's peace, our words bring peace.

When our hearts are full of His grace, our words become more patient, kind, and encouraging.

Today, before you send that email...
Before you reply to that message...
Before you speak in your next meeting...

Pause for a second and ask yourself:

"Will these words sound more like Jesus... or more like my emotions?"

You never know.

A simple word of encouragement, an apology, or an "I'm praying for you" might be exactly what someone needs today.

Can I ask you something?

Ano ang madalas mong pinapaniwalaan tungkol sa sarili mo?

Sometimes, the biggest battle isn't what's happening around us...

It's the conversation happening inside our minds.

"I'm not good enough."

"Maybe I'm not capable."

"Wala din namang magbabago."

If we're not careful, we start believing these thoughts more than we believe God's Word.

But today, let's START choosing differently.

Instead of dwelling on fear, let's fill our minds with God's truth.

Instead of listening to our doubts, let's listen to His promises.

📖 "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind." — Romans 12:2

Remember:

Not every thought deserves your belief.

Believe what God says.

Before you check your emails...
Before you open social media...
Before the world starts speaking into your day...

Take a moment to let God speak to your heart first.

The condition of our heart shapes our words, our decisions, and the way we treat others.

This morning, let's ask God to fill our hearts with His truth, His peace, and His presence before anything else.

🌅 GO FIRST | Before the Grind

By Friday, many of us are feeling the weight of the week.

Some goals are still unfinished.
Some prayers are still unanswered.
Some battles are still ongoing.

And if we're honest, there are moments when we're tempted to wonder,

"Is it really worth it to keep going?"

God's Word reminds us:

📖 "Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up." — Galatians 6:9

Notice that God doesn't promise an immediate harvest.

He promises a due season.

A season according to His timing... not ours.

So if you've been choosing integrity when shortcuts seem easier...
If you've been serving faithfully without recognition...
If you've been praying and still waiting...

Don't lose heart.

Every act of obedience matters.
Every quiet prayer is heard.
Every step of faith is seen by God.

Finish this week not by measuring how much you accomplished, but by asking:

"Was I faithful to the One who called me?"

Keep trusting.
Keep loving.
Keep serving.

God is not finished with your story.

🌅 GO FIRST | Before the Grind

Some weeks don't go the way we planned.

A deadline gets missed.
A prayer goes unanswered.
A door closes.
A conversation doesn't end well.

Our first instinct is often to ask,

"Lord, why is this happening?"

But what if we asked a different question?

"Lord, what are You growing in me through this?"

God never promised that following Him would mean a life without challenges. But He does promise that no trial is ever wasted in His hands.

He can use disappointments to build perseverance.
Setbacks to deepen our faith.
Waiting seasons to teach us patience.
Even our hardest moments to shape us into people who look more like Jesus.

If today feels heavier than expected, don't lose heart.

God is still working.

Not only around you... but also within you.

I remember what one of my mentors told me when I overthink... "Magiging maayos din ang lahat... magtiwala ka na kumikilos na ang Diyos sa Kanyang paraan."

📖 "The testing of your faith produces steadfastness..." — James 1:3

May we trust that every challenge is another opportunity for God to grow our character and draw us closer to Him.

🌅 GO FIRST | Before the Grind

Waiting is one of the hardest parts of following God.

We pray...
but the answer doesn't come.

We prepare...
but the opportunity hasn't arrived.

We trust...
yet it feels like nothing is happening.

In those moments, it's easy to think God has forgotten us.

But what if His silence isn't His absence?

What if, while we're waiting for God to move, He's also moving in us?

Sometimes He's preparing us.
Sometimes He's protecting us.
Sometimes He's shaping the character we'll need for what's ahead.

God's delays are never without purpose.

So if you're in a season of waiting today, don't lose heart.

Keep praying.
Keep trusting.
Keep abiding.

Because the God who holds your future is already at work—even when you can't see it.

📖 "But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength..." — Isaiah 40:31

May you find peace today, knowing that God's timing is always worth trusting. 🤍
