Members of the Dr. Sixto Antonio Assembly ACN.1779 joined by other Assemblies of District 16 - NCR South Sector 1 recently participated in the solemn Bonifacio Day Celebration.

Held at the historic Plaza Bonifacio in Brgy. Kapasigan, Pasig City, we honored the bravery and revolutionary spirit of G*t Andres Bonifacio, one of the great heroes who laid the foundation for our nation's freedom.

It was a meaningful experience to stand together as one fraternity, recognizing the sacrifices made for our liberty and reaffirming our commitment to patriotism and service.

Solemnity of Christ the King

This past Sunday, our Honor Guards stood in solemn commitment and reverence, serving at both the Mass and the Procession for the great Solemnity of Christ the King.

Their presence and disciplined service added a profound layer of dignity and solemnity to the entire celebration. Through their commitment, they helped to visibly honor Christ the King, demonstrating their dedication to the faith and the principles of the Knights of Columbus.

🙏 Thank you to every Honor Guard member for their commitment, time, and spirit of service. Your presence is a powerful witness to the community!

The path of service is often marked by seasonsof arrival, of shared work, and sometimes, of departure. To every brother Knight who has passed through our doors, offered their talents, and contributed to our mission: we are deeply grateful. Your work is woven into the tapestry of our Assembly's history.

Yet, this message is a special tribute to those among us who choose to stay.

You are the anchors of our Assembly. You are the steadfast hands that continue to hold the line, the resolute hearts that answer the call of Charity, Unity, and Fraternity year after year.
In a world that seems to spin faster every day, demanding swift changes in how we communicate, organize, and execute our works, your commitment is truly profound. The modern era brings new challenges and new requirements—new technologies to master, new reporting standards, and a constant call to innovate our outreach.

To adapt is to survive; to serve is to thrive.
It takes humility to learn new ways, patience to guide the Assembly through transitions, and faith to trust that the core of our mission remains the same: to serve our Church, our families, and our communities.

Thank you. Your dedication is not just appreciated; it is the very lifeblood of this Assembly. May we continue to march forward, together, adapting to the world without ever wavering from our sacred vows.

As we celebrate the 47th Founding Anniversary of the Knights of Columbus Dr. Sixto Antonio Assembly ACN. 1779, we look back with deep gratitude and renewed pride at nearly five decades of faith, service, and brotherhood.

Our Assembly’s journey is a living testament to the enduring ideals of the Order; Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism. Through the years, our Sir Knights have remained steadfast in their commitment to the Church, the community, and our beloved nation. Whether standing as Honor Guards in solemn devotion, extending helping hands to those in need, or leading initiatives that uplift both spirit and society, our Assembly has shown what it truly means to live as men of faith and action.

This milestone reminds us that our mission is not confined to the past but continues to call us forward. The Church and community still look upon the Knights of Columbus as men who lead by example, guided by principle, strengthened by brotherhood, and inspired by faith.

As we mark our 47th year, let us honor those who came before us, our founding members and all the Sir Knights who built the foundation upon which we stand today. Let their legacy inspire us to carry the torch of service with the same zeal and devotion.

May this celebration not only be a moment of reflection but also a renewed commitment to the values that unite us as Knights. Let us continue to serve with humility, protect with courage, and love with faith.

Together, let us march onward, strong in purpose, unwavering in faith, and united in brotherhood toward our 50th year and beyond.

TEMPUS FUGIT, MEMENTO MORI

As we render our final respects to our beloved brother Sir Knight Artemio Angeles, who returned to our Creator last August 25, 2025, we also remember all our departed brother Knights who have served with unwavering dedication. Their example inspires us to continue our mission — defending the faith, serving the Church, and uplifting our communities.

Let us gather in solemn prayer, entrusting their souls to the mercy of God and seeking comfort in the promise of eternal life.

The Knights of Columbus Honor Guards are more than men in uniform — they are living symbols of faith, unity, and service. Every time they march, stand in formation, or raise their swords in salute, they remind us that our Catholic faith is alive and vibrant. Their presence is not only ceremonial; it is a visible testimony of loyalty to Christ, respect for the Church, and commitment to our Order.

When the Honor Guards stand tall, they carry the dignity of our brotherhood and the legacy of those who came before us. Their discipline inspires, their reverence uplifts, and their courage strengthens the hearts of those who witness them in action.

Every step they take in formation is a step for Christ, every salute is a gesture of love for the Church, and every moment in uniform is an invitation for others to be inspired by the noble mission of the Knights of Columbus.

"Honor Guard is not just about carrying the sword — it is about carrying the Cross". ⚔️✝️
