dear little warrior,

There are seasons where we spent saying, "When will it be my turn?"

Then there are seasons where we looked back and asked, "How did God carry me through all of that?"

Sometimes gratitude comes long after prayer does. Not because God was absent before, but because we finally have the perspective to see what He was doing all along.

Until then, I'll wait for you here, at the promise fulfilled.

Maybe the reason God has been quiet is not because He left,
but because He’s teaching you to recognize Him without needing constant reassurance.

Faith grows in the silence too.

Do not be afraid of soft things.

This world teaches us to harden quickly.
To stop caring. To stop feeling. To stop hoping after disappointment.

But surviving is not the same thing as living.

There is still strength in gentleness. Still courage in staying kind. Still beauty in hearts that choose tenderness after everything they have endured.

Not every soft thing is weakness. Some mean healing. Some mean wisdom.
Some are proof that God did not let pain turn you into someone unrecognizable.

So if you’ve been feeling your heart slowly come back to life lately,
do not run from it.

Maybe God is teaching you that you can be discerning without being cold.
Protected without being closed off.
Soft without being fragile.

And maybe that is growth too.

Pray longer.
Hope again.
God's doing something in you.
You only have to wait and be still.

There are prayers you don’t say anymore.
Not because they don’t matter,
but because it started to hurt to hope.

Still… God remembers.

He kept every tear.
He honored every midnight cry.
He didn’t waste your waiting. He used it.

What feels like silence is not absence.
What feels like delay is not rejection.
It’s becoming.

God doesn’t rush what He intends to last.
He moves on His timeline, not your desperation.

And when it finally comes,
you won’t just receive it,
you’ll understand why it had to take time.

Don’t lose heart, warrior.
He hasn’t forgotten you.
Not once.

You don’t start this week alone. God is already in your day. Already in your meetings. Already in your classes. Already in the doors you’re about to walk into.

You’re not figuring it out as you go, you’re stepping into what He’s already prepared.

“The Lord, He is the one who goes before you. He will be with you; He will not leave you or forsake you.” — Deuteronomy 31:8 (ESV)

So walk boldly.
Move with faith.
And trust that what’s ahead of you has already been covered by Him.

dear little warrior,

I know the world wants everything done fast, instant even. But that's where most of our problems come from. Moving fast means breaking things, maybe even breaking yourself, as you continue to move without pausing to think.

Don't rush to be the worship leader or media person or youth pastor you aspire to one day be. Find peace in your process. God has made the pace right just for you. And trust me, one day, the wait will make sense.

In John 15, Jesus doesn’t say, “visit me when you need something.”
He says: abide in Me.

To abide means to remain.
To stay.
To make your home there.

And how do we actually abide in Him?
Through His Word.

Not just reading it occasionally,
but letting His words live in you, shape your thinking, interrupt your patterns, realign your desires.

Because fruit doesn’t come from striving. It comes from staying connected.

Starting today, try not to rush your time with Scripture.
Stay longer than you planned.
Sit with one passage.
Let it settle in you.

Abiding is where transformation happens.

“If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.”
— John 15:7 (ESV)

Don’t just plan your week. Pray over it.

You can organize your schedule, set your goals, map out your week, color-code your tasks,

but if God isn’t in it, you’ll still feel empty doing it.

This Monday, invite Him into everything: your work, your decisions, or your conversations.

Commit your week to Him first.
Then move.
