San Nicolas United Methodist Youth Fellowship joined the Special District Youth Conference of the Southeast Pangasinan District or SEPD UMYF on June 27, 2026, at Rosales United Methodist Church.

The conference gathered 39 voting delegates from different local churches in the district for the election of a new set of officers and the turnover of leadership.

Among the highlights of the conference was the election of Hannah Mae Quigtar of San Nicolas UMC as the new SEPD UMYF president. She succeeds outgoing president Janus Gabriel Castillo, also from San Nicolas UMC, who presided over the conference.

In a symbolic turnover, Castillo handed the gavel to Quigtar, marking the formal transfer of leadership and responsibility to the newly elected district president.

The participation of San Nicolas UMYF in the conference reflected its continued involvement in district youth leadership and ministry.

As written in 1 Timothy 4:12, โ€œDonโ€™t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers.โ€

May this verse serve as a reminder to the youth leaders to lead with faith, service, and humility.
