𝗠𝗔𝗬 25–28, 2026

Get ready, young pilgrims and future saints (and future sleepers after prayer time ), because the most awaited Youth Summer Camp 2026 is finally happening!

This is not just a camp… this is FOUR days of faith, friendship, fun, and food (and yes, probably a little bit of “Lord, give me strength” after activities 😆).

Deanery of Oroquieta will be at 𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐡
Deanery of Calamba will be at 𝐒𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐠𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧
Deanery of Dipolog will be at 𝐋𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧
Deanery of Labason will be at 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐠 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧

So pack your bags, bring your faith, your energy, and maybe a little patience (for group games and early morning prayers 😌).

Because this camp is not just about sleeping in tents… it’s about waking up in faith, growing in Christ, and maybe losing your voice from cheering too much 🎤🔥

𝗗𝗮𝘆 4 | 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

The final day has come filled with gratitude, reflections, and hearts inspired by the journey.

As the National Youth Convention concludes, the learnings, friendships, and memories will continue to guide and strengthen the youth in their mission. Padayon, kabatan-onan!

Day 3 continues with deeper reflections, active participation, and stronger connections among the youth.

Now recharged and ready, Day 2 continues with meaningful activities, inspiring learnings, and opportunities to connect with fellow youth from different dioceses.

𝗗𝗮𝘆 1 | 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

The Youth of the Iglesia Filipina Independiente Diocese of Oroquieta has officially begun their journey at the National Youth Convention held in Culasi, Antique, on May 1-4, 2026.

Representing the Diocese of Oroquieta are the Diocesan Youth Officers: 𝐒𝐢𝐫 𝐁𝐞𝐣𝐢𝐞 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨, 𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐢, and 𝐑𝐡𝐞𝐯𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐚𝐧𝐠.

A day filled with fellowship and new connections with fellow youth from different dioceses. Excited for what’s ahead! Padayon, kabatan-onan!

Abi ninyo ordinaryo ra ang last week of May? Think again!!!

Naay something exciting nga padulong, and no, dili ni exam, assignment, or surprise recitation 😭. This is something much better, something that will surely bring joy, excitement, and fellowship to our YIFI family. So before mo mangutana ug “𝐔𝐧𝐬𝐚 𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐢?” or “𝐤𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐬-𝐚 𝐧𝐢?”, stay tuned lang sa kay hapit na gyud ang official reveal.

Prepare yourselves, ready your calendars, and maybe ready na pud inyong best outfits kay basin pang-picture worthy ni. One thing is for sure: the last week of May is about to get a lot more exciting. Ayaw sa pag himo ug lain nga plano kay basin magmahay mo ug ma-FOMO mo later 😭😂

𝔚𝔦𝔱𝔥 ℌ𝔦𝔤𝔥𝔢𝔰𝔱 𝔓𝔯𝔞𝔦𝔰𝔢 𝔞𝔫𝔡 𝔗𝔥𝔞𝔫𝔨𝔰𝔤𝔦𝔳𝔦𝔫𝔤 𝔱𝔬 𝔊𝔬𝔡!

The Diocese of Oroquieta proudly celebrates the achievement of 𝐁𝐫. 𝐀𝐫𝐣𝐢𝐞 𝐁. 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐨𝐧, who has attained his 𝘽𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙮, 𝘾𝙪𝙢 𝙇𝙖𝙪𝙙𝙚 from the Aglipay Central Theological Seminary. 🎓✨

He is also a recipient of the 𝙄𝙨𝙖𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙤 𝙙𝙚 𝙡𝙤𝙨 𝙍𝙚𝙮𝙚𝙨 𝙎𝙧. 𝘼𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙, a remarkable distinction that recognizes both his academic merit and his exemplary formation in preparation for his vocation.

This milestone reflects years of dedication, sacrifice, and faithful commitment to the path he has chosen. As he moves forward, may he continue to be strengthened by grace, guided by truth, and inspired to serve with humility and zeal for the mission of the Church.

The Bishop, together with the Clergy and the faithful of the Diocese, shares in this moment of joy and offers prayers for his continued journey in service to God and His people.

With thanksgiving to Almighty God, the Diocese of Oroquieta joyfully announces the 𝙊𝙧𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙖𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙊𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝘿𝙞𝙖𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙚 of 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐉𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐦𝐚𝐫 𝐂. 𝐂𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐨, through the Laying on of Hands and the Invocation of the Holy Spirit. This will be conferred by 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙍𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙍𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙙 𝙑𝙞𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙢 𝙔. 𝘽𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙮, Bishop of Oroquieta on Sunday, April 12, 2026, being the 𝙎𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙀𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧 at 3:00 in the afternoon, at the Cathedral Church of Saint Mary, Iglesia Filipina Independiente, Oroquieta City.

The faithful are warmly invited to witness and celebrate this sacred occasion as our brother responds to God’s call to ordained ministry.

Let us continue to pray for him as he begins his journey of service to God and His people.
