The Diocese of Oroquieta proudly celebrates the achievement of 𝐁𝐫. 𝐀𝐫𝐣𝐢𝐞 𝐁. 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐨𝐧, who has attained his 𝘽𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙮, 𝘾𝙪𝙢 𝙇𝙖𝙪𝙙𝙚 from the Aglipay Central Theological Seminary. 🎓✨

He is also a recipient of the 𝙄𝙨𝙖𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙤 𝙙𝙚 𝙡𝙤𝙨 𝙍𝙚𝙮𝙚𝙨 𝙎𝙧. 𝘼𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙, a remarkable distinction that recognizes both his academic merit and his exemplary formation in preparation for his vocation.

This milestone reflects years of dedication, sacrifice, and faithful commitment to the path he has chosen. As he moves forward, may he continue to be strengthened by grace, guided by truth, and inspired to serve with humility and zeal for the mission of the Church.

The Bishop, together with the Clergy and the faithful of the Diocese, shares in this moment of joy and offers prayers for his continued journey in service to God and His people.

With thanksgiving to Almighty God, the Diocese of Oroquieta joyfully announces the 𝙊𝙧𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙖𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙊𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝘿𝙞𝙖𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙚 of 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐉𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐦𝐚𝐫 𝐂. 𝐂𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐨, through the Laying on of Hands and the Invocation of the Holy Spirit. This will be conferred by 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙍𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙍𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙙 𝙑𝙞𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙢 𝙔. 𝘽𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙮, Bishop of Oroquieta on Sunday, April 12, 2026, being the 𝙎𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙀𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧 at 3:00 in the afternoon, at the Cathedral Church of Saint Mary, Iglesia Filipina Independiente, Oroquieta City.

The faithful are warmly invited to witness and celebrate this sacred occasion as our brother responds to God’s call to ordained ministry.

𝘿𝙞𝙤𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙖𝙣 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙊𝙧𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙯𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙇𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙣 𝙍𝙚𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩 2026

Lenten Retreat deepened our spiritual journey, reminding us that we are called to worship and commissioned to serve, upholding the life and dignity of every human person.

This sacred gathering was not only a time of reflection, but a moment for renewal—strengthening our relationship with God, rediscovering our purpose as young people in the Church, and nurturing a deeper sense of responsibility in serving others. It provided a space for silence, prayer, and meaningful encounters that inspire conversion, unity, and a more Christ-centered life, especially in this Lenten season.

💛 We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to our host parish for the warm welcome, generous accommodation, and for making everyone feel at home throughout the event.

✨ Special thanks to our Retreat Master, Rev. Fr. Jerome C. Sevilla, for guiding us through this meaningful and transformative spiritual journey.

With grateful hearts, we thank all Diocesan Youth Organization who actively participated in this meaningful gathering held on March 27–28, 2026 at the Parish of the Most Holy Rosary, Upper Turno, Dipolog City with the theme: “CALLED TO WORSHIP, COMMISSIONED TO SERVE: Upholding Life and Dignity of Every Human Person.” (1 John 4:16, 1 Corinthians 1:10, Luke 10:37)

Together, we strengthened our commitment through collaboration, planning, and fellowship—guided by our shared mission as young people of faith. From the Order of Business to the fruitful discussions and presentations of our General Plan of Action, this gathering truly reflected unity in service.
