This verse reminds us that love did not start with us. It started with God. Before we knew Him, before we changed, before we deserved anything He already loved us. His love is the reason we can love others genuinely.

When we understand how deep God’s love is, it becomes easier to forgive, to show kindness, and to love even when it’s hard. Our love is simply a response to the love He freely gave.
