Great Commission Mission Team The Great Commission Mission Team (GCMT) was founded in 2004. The GCMT Church is the fastest growing church in Oriental Mindoro, Philippines.

The team’s goal is to reach the tribal people called Mangyan who live in the mountains of Mindoro, Philippines. It was established in 2004 and now it has 8 churches: Ether, Buro-Buro, Sinugbuhan, Umlot, Padilag, Abay, Gaang, Bukana. With the help of God by using the people with the heart that has full of desire of serving Him and following His will, the GCMT church is continuously growing and spreading the word of God to people.

From preparing meals to serving every child, every moment was filled with love. Their smiles are a reminder that God’s love reaches even the most remote places.

In the quiet mountains of Bulalacao, Mindoro, we witnessed something truly beautiful hearts being filled not just with food, but with love. 🤍

Every smile, every grateful look, and every shared meal reminded us that even the simplest acts of kindness can become powerful testimonies of God’s goodness. These children may live far from the comforts of the city, but their joy is pure, their faith is inspiring, and their hearts are full.

We came to give, but we left receiving so much more. All glory belongs to God for allowing us to be His hands and feet in this mission. 🙏✨

More moments from our mission journey

From traveling by land, by sea, and even riding vehicles meant for goods walking and climbing to the peaks of the mountains the tiredness was never felt because of the smiles of our brothers and sisters in the mountains who warmly welcomed us once again.

They were so happy to see our missionaries. Even after walking for hours, they were still excited and ready to play games and spend time bonding with us.

The smiles on their faces give us hope and strength to share more of the love of God with them, even in the farthest places of Oriental Mindoro.
