Let us join this Sunday, June 28, in uniting in prayer and solidarity for accountability, justice, and renewal through the White Ribbon March.

Let us join in wearing white, praying the Nation’s Prayer for Enlightenment, Conversion, and Renewal, and reflecting on the social dimension of our Eucharistic celebrations.

As we approach the 75th Anniversary of our Archdiocese on June 29, may our faith inspire transformation in our communities and nation.

After visiting the different chapels and communities of Our Lady of Consolation Parish from June 9 to 17, 2026, the pilgrim image of San Pablo Apostol, Patron Saint of the Basic Ecclesial Communities of the Archdiocese of Cagayan de Oro (ACDO), was brought in a motorcade on June 18 to Holy Cross Parish, Alubijid, Misamis Oriental.

The BEC family of Our Lady of Consolation Parish accompanied the pilgrim image with gratitude and prayer as it continued its journey to the next host parish. Throughout its visitation, the image became a source of inspiration, strengthening the faith, unity, and missionary spirit of the Basic Ecclesial Communities it visited.

May the example of St. Paul the Apostle continue to encourage the faithful to proclaim the Gospel with courage, deepen their commitment to Christ, and foster stronger communion within their communities.

On June 7, 2026, the faithful of Our Lady of Consolation Parish gathered in prayer and thanksgiving to celebrate Corpus Christi, the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ. The Holy Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Fermin P. Tan Jr., SSJV, who reminded the faithful of the gift of the Holy Eucharist and Christ's abiding presence in the life of the Church.

Following the Eucharistic Celebration, parishioners participated in the Corpus Christi Procession, prayerfully accompanying the Blessed Sacrament and honoring Jesus Christ truly present in the Eucharist. The procession served as a meaningful reminder of our call to place Christ at the center of our lives and to carry His presence wherever we go.

May this celebration deepen our love for the Holy Eucharist and strengthen our commitment to live as faithful disciples, sharing Christ's love through our words and actions.

Santa Cruzan 2026 featured the presentation of the participating chapels, the announcement and recognition of the Reynas, and a solemn procession joined by children from different chapels of Our Lady of Consolation Parish. The celebration concluded with the Holy Mass, where the community gathered in prayer and thanksgiving, honoring both the Blessed Virgin Mary and this cherished Catholic tradition.

The celebration became a joyful gathering of children, families, and parishioners, highlighting the beauty of faith, devotion, and unity. Through their participation, the young people reflected the values of humility, grace, and love for God and the Blessed Mother.

On May 31, 2026, the faithful of Our Lady of Consolation Parish gathered to celebrate Holy Trinity Sunday and Santa Cruzan through the Holy Mass presided over by Rev. Fr. Jessie John Tapungot, SSJV. The celebration brought together children, families, and parishioners in prayer and thanksgiving as they honored the Blessed Trinity and concluded the month-long Flores de Mayo devotion.

The Holy Mass served as a reminder of God's abiding presence and love through the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It also highlighted the importance of faith, unity, and devotion as reflected in the lives of those who participated in the Santa Cruzan celebration.

On May 31, 2026, children from different chapels of Our Lady of Consolation Parish joyfully took part in Santa Cruzan 2026, a cherished Catholic tradition that honors the Blessed Virgin Mary and commemorates the discovery of the Holy Cross by Saint Elena. Representing their respective chapels through this year's Flores de Mayo, the children gracefully joined the procession as Reynas and escorts, reflecting faith, devotion, and the beauty of this beloved tradition.

More than a colorful procession, the celebration became a meaningful gathering of children, families, and communities united in prayer and thanksgiving. Through their participation, they helped keep this cherished tradition alive while expressing their love and devotion to the Blessed Mother.
