OFFICIAL STATEMENT | Diocesan Youth Ministry โ€“ Diocese of Bayombong

As young people of faith, we stand in solidarity with the communities, farmers, and Indigenous Peoples of Pao, Kasibu, Nueva Vizcaya in their call to protect the land, waters, and forests entrusted to us by God.

We affirm our commitment to responsible stewardship of creation and the protection of our common home.

โ€ŽKid was known for his kindness, genuine care, initiatives, and serving God with dedication and love. His journey with us started last August 2025 with a simple youth camp. At first, he was a shy kid always smiling and stayed quiet. As time passed by, he became energetic, joyful, loves to share food, and became everyone's comfort zone, safe place and happy pill.

โ€ŽHis journey with us reminds us the importance of cherishing every laugh, every story, and every moment we share with our love ones.

Inviting every Youth Minister of Solano for our General Assembly on April 26, 2026, with the theme ๐—Ÿ๐—ฎ๐—ด๐—ถ๐—ฝ: ๐—ฃ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฎ๐—ด๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ด๐—ถ๐—ฝ, ๐—ฃ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฎ๐—ด๐˜†๐—ฎ๐—บ๐—ฎ๐—ป, ๐—ธ๐—ฒ๐—ป ๐—ฃ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฎ๐—ด๐—ธ๐—ฎ๐˜†๐—ธ๐—ฎ๐˜†๐˜€๐—ฎ.

From August 2025 to April 2026, we didnโ€™t just serve, we showed up even when tired, pushed through challenges, and stayed as one family in faith and service.

Now, as we close this chapter, we gather for our General Assembly to look back on everything weโ€™ve been through, give thanks for every blessing, and honor every effort that brought us here.

Pope Leo XIV declared 2026 as the Jubilee Franciscan Year of celebrating the 800the anniversary of the Transitus or Passing of St. Francis of Assisi. Throughout the world from January 10, 2026 to January 10, 2027, the Franciscan Family commemorates the journey of its Seraphic Founder into eternal life. One way of honoring St. Francis in his special year is the holding of prayer-formation conferences and veneration of his First-Class Relic in selected parishes in Nueva Vizcaya.

This message shared by Reverend Father Paul Francis M. Tuguinay during his homily taught us to reflect the true essence of Easter. The Resurrection reminds us that Christโ€™s triumph over death is also our call to live in His light.

In moments of doubt and darkness, His radiance reminds us that hope is stronger than despair. And when we allow His light to shine within us, we become an instrument of love, forgiveness, and renewal.

These were the words of His Excellency, Most Rev. Jose Elmer I. Mangalinao, Bishop of Bayombong, during his homily at the Chrism Mass, as he encouraged all parishioners to continue serving the Church with dedication and humility.

As the Parish Youth Ministry of Solano joined the said Mass, the Bishopโ€™s message gave them even more reason to continue doing good and serving in the name of the Lord.

The Lenten season is not only a time to mourn the sacrifice and death of Christ, but also a time to reflect on oneโ€™s actions and decisions in life โ€” a call to grow in faith, service, and love.
