The Bacolod Lanao del Norte Seventh-day Adventist Church successfully conducted its annual Children’s Day Celebration on May 30, 2026, a special event dedicated to empowering and nurturing the spiritual growth of our young people.
On this meaningful Sabbath, the children took on active leadership roles throughout the day’s activities. They confidently participated in and led various parts of the Sabbath School Program, Divine Worship Service, and Adventist Youth (AY) Program, showcasing their God-given talents, abilities, and commitment to serving the Lord.
This initiative aims to provide children with meaningful opportunities to strengthen their faith, develop leadership skills, build self-confidence, and foster a deeper sense of responsibility in the service of God. By allowing children to take part in church programs and worship services, they gain valuable experience and are encouraged to become active disciples and future leaders of the church.
The event was spearheaded by the Children’s Ministries Department under the leadership of Children’s Ministry Coordinator, Sis. Denifer Cano, with the assistance of Sis. Mary Jean Jomuad and Sis. Michelle Vinte. Their dedication, hard work, and commitment played a vital role in making the celebration both memorable and spiritually enriching.
The Children’s Day program was truly a success as the young participants enthusiastically shared their talents through singing, Scripture reading, prayers, storytelling, and various worship presentations. Their confidence and enthusiasm served as an inspiration to the congregation and reflected the importance of nurturing children in a Christ-centered environment.
Parents, church members, and guests were blessed as they witnessed the children actively leading in worship and demonstrating their love for Jesus. The event not only celebrated the children but also emphasized the church’s commitment to guiding and mentoring the next generation in faith and service.
Indeed, this year’s Children’s Day Celebration was a joyful reminder that when children are given opportunities to serve, learn, and grow in Christ, they become powerful instruments for His ministry and shining examples of faith for others.
