The members are a mix ranging from students to professionals who have a background in catechism.

As we conclude our Flores de Mayo 2026 celebration, our hearts are full of gratitude for everyone who became part of this meaningful journey.

Daghang salamat to our generous sponsors for your support and kindness, to our dedicated catechists for your patience and guidance, and to our chapel community for your prayers, participation, and love. Because of all of you, this celebration became more meaningful and memorable for our children and youth.

177 SETS OF SCHOOL SUPPLIES🫢✨

This year’s Flores de Mayo, we gathered a total of 177 sets of school supplies donated directly to our parish.

With grateful hearts, we thank our generous sponsors of the school supplies shared for Flores de Mayo 2026. These school supplies are now distributed to chapels whom we identified with less sponsors. We also would like to show appreciation to sponsors who directly coordinated with our chapel presidents for their donation. Our hearts are filled with love!

Your kindness and support bring joy and inspiration to our children. May God bless you a hundred fold more!

π‹πŽπŽπŠ | Today, marks a joyful and sacred moment as the first communicants attended the Holy Mass for their First Communion. This special Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Rev. Fr. Oswald Popen. With hearts full of faith and hands joined in prayer, these young communicants received the Body of Christ for the very first timeβ€”a profound step in their journey as members of the Catholic Church. First and Post communicants coming different chapels under Divine Mercy Parish were gathered today in the Old Convent of the Divine Mercy Parish for the Flores de Mayo 2026 Quiz Bowl. Here are the results from the recently held competition.

FIRST COMMUNICANT LEVEL

1st: Upper and Lower Sta. Cruz Chapel
2nd: Birhen sa Lourdes Chapel
3rd: Lower San Jose Chapel

POST COMMUNICANT LEVEL

1st: Lower San Jose Chapel
2nd: Nativity of Jesus Chapel
3rd: Santo NiΓ±o - Bayanihan Chapel

The goal of this competition is to encourage our young communicants to show their knowledge on the Catholic teachings as well as bonding with fellow communicants and catechist from other chapels. It was day filled with meaningful and exciting challenges of faith, teamwork, and encounter with Christ. βœ¨πŸ“–πŸ™

With grateful hearts, this Good Shepherd Sunday we celebrate the commissioning of our catechists with our guest priest Rev. Fr. Victor Ma. Semillano, MMHC last 9:30 AM mass at Divine Mercy Parish. πŸ’›

Let us pray together as we catechist prepare to be sent for this coming month of May. Like the good shepherd, may our mission be filled with wisdom, patience, and unwavering faith as we guide others closer to God.
