The members are a mix ranging from students to professionals who have a background in catechism.

First and Post communicants coming different chapels under Divine Mercy Parish were gathered today in the Old Convent of the Divine Mercy Parish for the Flores de Mayo 2026 Quiz Bowl. Here are the results from the recently held competition.

FIRST COMMUNICANT LEVEL

1st: Upper and Lower Sta. Cruz Chapel
2nd: Birhen sa Lourdes Chapel
3rd: Lower San Jose Chapel

POST COMMUNICANT LEVEL

1st: Lower San Jose Chapel
2nd: Nativity of Jesus Chapel
3rd: Santo Niรฑo - Bayanihan Chapel

The goal of this competition is to encourage our young communicants to show their knowledge on the Catholic teachings as well as bonding with fellow communicants and catechist from other chapels. It was day filled with meaningful and exciting challenges of faith, teamwork, and encounter with Christ. โœจ๐Ÿ“–๐Ÿ™

With grateful hearts, this Good Shepherd Sunday we celebrate the commissioning of our catechists with our guest priest Rev. Fr. Victor Ma. Semillano, MMHC last 9:30 AM mass at Divine Mercy Parish. ๐Ÿ’›

Let us pray together as we catechist prepare to be sent for this coming month of May. Like the good shepherd, may our mission be filled with wisdom, patience, and unwavering faith as we guide others closer to God.

This Holy Saturday, ๐€๐ฉ๐ซ๐ข๐ฅ ๐Ÿ’, ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”, at ๐Ÿ—:๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ๐๐Œ, everyone is invited to join a very important celebration in our parish - the Easter Vigil, a sacred Mass as we welcome the Resurrection of Jesus.

On this night, the fire and water are blessed, and we renew our baptismal promises as a sign of the new life we have in Christ.

We invite everyone to take part in this holy celebration as we come together to welcome the triumph of light over darkness and the new life that Christ brings.
