With grateful hearts, we invite everyone to witness a moment of faith, service, and thanksgiving as the Diocese of Bago celebrates the Installation of its Diocesan Bishop, The Right Rev. Virgilio B. Amihan Jr.

Join us on Sunday, June 21, 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, Bago City as we gather in prayer and unity for this sacred occasion in the life of the Iglesia Filipina Independiente.

Let us come together as one Church and one community to thank the Lord for the gift of episcopal ministry and to pray for Bishop Virgilio’s another term of faithful shepherding of the people of God in the Diocese of Bago.

𝗜𝗖𝗬𝗠 | Young people from across the dioceses came together in worship, dialogue, and fellowship for the 19th National Youth Convention, with the theme “Nourished by the Holy Spirit, Bearing Fruits of Renewal” held on May 1–4, 2026 at the Parish of St. Michael and All Angels in Culasi, Diocese of Antique.

This convention became a sacred space where faith was deepened and the mission of service to God and our country was renewed. It stands as a testament to the enduring faith and unity of the Youth of the Iglesia Filipina Independiente.

The Diocese of Bago was faithfully represented by Ms. Faith Leila P. Navarette, DYEC President; Ms. Rica Grace D. Arro, DYEC Vice President; and Engr. Jun C. Abitong, DYEC General Treasurer. Their participation reflected the steadfast commitment of the youth to uphold the vision and mission of the Church.

With hearts united in faith and service, the Youth of the Iglesia Filipina Independiente continue to shine as bearers of hope and strength for the Church and our nation.

As our shepherd, you have guided not only the Church but also the hearts of the Youth, encouraging us to stand firm in our calling and to live out the spirit of Pro Deo et Patria.

𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟭 𝗔𝗥𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗦 | Diocesan Summer Youth Work Camp 2026

From the early hours of the morning, delegates from different parishes and missions gathered with excitement. Ready to begin a journey that is more than just a camp, but a mission rooted in faith and service.

As we participated in the Holy Mass, we were reminded of our purpose, nga indi lang kita magtililipon para mag-enjoy, kundi para magtubo sa pagtuo, magpalapnag sang gugma sang Diyos, kag magin kabahin sang mas dako nga misyon sang simbahan.

Padayon, kabataan! The journey has just begun. ❤️
