Today, we joyfully celebrate the feast of St. Augustine of Hippo, a great Father and Doctor of the Church, and his mother, St. Monica, a model of a faithful and persevering mother.

St. Monica teaches us the power of prayer, patience, and unwavering faith, while St. Augustine reminds us that God’s grace can transform hearts and lead us from sin to holiness.

May their lives inspire us to seek God with all our hearts, remain steadfast in prayer, and trust in His perfect timing.
