Patuloy tayong nakakaranas ngayon ng Salot sa ating Bansa, at patuloy na tumataas ang Kaso at ang mga Taong nakakasalamuha ng Nagpopositibo sa COVID-19, patuloy tayong Manalangin kay San Roque ang patron ng mga nasasalot at may sakit, si San Roque nawa ang magdala ng ating mga Panalangin kay Kristong ating Panginoon.

O, Panginoon Kong Diyos, ikaw na nagsugo sa maluwalhating San Roque at pinahatiran mo siya ng kaputol na tabla, pinagtibay Mo ang pangako sa kanya, upang ang sino mang dapuan ng salot ay hindi maano, sapagkat siya'y deboto sa Iyo.

Magdalita Ka sa aming lahat na gumugunita sa kanyang buhay. Ipagkaloob Mo na kami ay maligtas sa mga salot na nakakamatay sa kaluluwa't katawan, pakundangan kay Hesukristong Panginoon namin. Amen.

June Devotion: The Sacred Heart of Jesus

By tradition, the Catholic Church dedicates each month of the year to a certain devotion. In June, it is the Sacred Heart of Jesus (the Feast of the Sacred Heart normally falls in this month). The Church celebrates the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus on the Friday following the second Sunday after Pentecost.The Sacred Heart represents Christ's love for all mankind, and our devotion to it is an expression of our faith in His mercy.

Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
O most holy heart of Jesus, fountain of every blessing, I adore you, I love you, and with lively sorrow for my sins I offer you this poor heart of mine. Make me humble, patient, pure and wholly obedient to your will. Grant, Good Jesus, that I may live in you and for you. Protect me in the midst of danger. Comfort me in my afflictions. Give me health of body, assistance in my temporal needs, your blessing on all that I do, and the grace of a holy death. Amen.

IS LOCKED DOWN
Hospicio de San Jose, an orphanage under the management of the Sisters of the Daughters of Charity, is presently under lockdown. 14 of their staff and 4 elders are found to be covid positive and 1 of the elders already died. All are now undergoing swab test. They are not allowed to leave Isla Convalecencia. They are running out of food because nobody is donating to them and the sisters are worried about the children and elders. They are appealing to your kind generosity. Sister Marce prefers assistance in kind especially food. The babies and elders need diapers. Children need milk.
