The individual falsely claiming to be the Parish Priest of Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage, Guijalo, Caramoan, Camarines Sur, and allegedly soliciting financial assistance, is not authorized by the Church.

We strongly urge everyone to remain vigilant. Do not send money to unverified individuals. Always verify requests through official parish or archdiocesan channels.

Last February 15, 2026, a meaningful Sunday apostolate was held for the female PDLs at the BJMP Naga Female Dorm in collaboration with the seminarians of Holy Rosary Major Seminary, who shared a reflection on the coming Lenten season, together with the Basilica Prison Ministry.

The celebration of the Holy Eucharist was presided over by Rev. Fr. Jayson Gaite, bringing hope, renewal, and spiritual strength to the persons deprived of liberty. The presence of the seminarians and ministry volunteers reflected the Churchโ€™s continuing mission to serve, accompany, and uplift those behind bars.

In every prayer and every song of praise, Godโ€™s mercy was deeply felt
reminding everyone that no walls can limit His grace.

As Valentineโ€™s Day draws near, love reached behind bars today, February 8, 2026, at the BJMPโ€“Naga City Female Dormitory. ๐ŸŒน

The Basilica Prison Ministry, in coordination with the Maximilian Ministry, held an advance Valentine celebration through โ€”sharing flowers, heartfelt smiles, and meaningful moments with our Persons Deprived of Liberty.

Adding warmth to the day were the touching harana serenades by Bro. Robert and Bro. Marvin, reminding every heart present that despite circumstances, they are remembered, valued, and deeply loved.

After the program, the celebration was crowned with a Holy Mass presided over by Rev. Fr. Ruben Berango, Director, Pro Tempore HARONG KAN MARHAY NA PASTOR Formation House, NC (Diocese of Legazpi), nourishing not only hearts but also spirits.

A celebration of love, mercy, and hope because love knows no walls. โค๏ธ

In partnership with Fazenda da Esperanรงa and the Camarines Commission on Prison Welfare Maximilian MMinistry , our guests Sis. Gina Razo, Bro. Robert Razo, Sis. Mercy Milla, and Sis. Johanna shared the ministryโ€™s mission to bring pastoral care, spiritual formation, and support to Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs).
