NVAC SDA Church Promotional Video Contest
1. Purpose
The NVAC Promotional Video Contest is organized to select three (3) outstanding promotional videos that will be used in fundraising initiatives for the construction of the NVAC Church building. The contest seeks to engage NVAC students in producing high-quality, informative, and compelling media content that effectively presents the vision, activities, and community involvement of NVAC Church for fundraising and promotional use.
2. Eligibility
Open exclusively to currently enrolled NVAC students.
Participation may be individual or group-based, with a maximum of five (5) members per entry.
Each individual or group may submit one (1) video entry only.
3. Video Specifications
Duration: 60 – 120 seconds
File Format: MP4 or MOV
Orientation: Landscape (preferred)
Resolution: Minimum of 1920 Ă— 1080 pixels (Full HD)
Language: English or Filipino
Content Focus:
Overview of NVAC Church and its programs
Student participation and activities
Community engagement
Rationale and need for the church building project
Invitation and ways to contribute
4. Content Guidelines
Videos must be original and produced solely for this contest.
Use of copyrighted materials is not allowed unless proper permission or licensing is secured.
Content must comply with institutional standards, including accuracy, respect, and academic integrity.
Videos should be appropriate for public fundraising and institutional promotion.
Consent must be obtained from all individuals appearing in the video.
5. Submission Requirements
Submission Deadline: February 20, 2026
Submission Method: (Email or Google Drive)
File Name Format: GroupName_VideoTitle
Each submission must include:
A 50–75 word description of the video
Names and student numbers of all participants
6. Evaluation Criteria (100 Points Total)
A. Effectiveness for Fundraising – 30 points
Clear communication of the purpose and need for the church building project
Ability to motivate support and interest
Persuasiveness of the overall message
B. Concept and Creativity – 25 points
Originality of the concept
Creative presentation of information
Engaging narrative structure
C. Technical Quality – 20 points
Video resolution, sound clarity, and editing quality
Visual coherence and pacing
Professional level of production
D. Accuracy and Relevance – 15 points
Accurate representation of NVAC Church and the building initiative
Alignment with contest objectives
Appropriate and relevant content
E. Audience Engagement – 10 points
Ability to sustain viewer attention
Suitability for public dissemination
Memorability and overall impact
7. Selection and Awards
Three (3) Best Promotional Videos will be selected by the panel of judges.
1st place will receive Php. 3,000.00
2nd place will receive Php. 2,000.00
3rd place will receive Php. 1,000.00
10 consolation prizes will receive Php 250.00 each.
Selected videos will be designated as official fundraising materials for the NVAC Church Building Project.
Additional citations or recognition may be awarded at the discretion of the organizing committee.
8. Intellectual Property and Usage Rights
Ownership of the videos remains with the creators.
By submitting an entry, participants grant NVAC the non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute the selected videos for fundraising, academic, and promotional purposes, with appropriate attribution.
9. Disqualification
Entries will be disqualified if they:
Do not meet technical or content requirements
Contain plagiarized or unauthorized material
Are submitted beyond the specified deadline
10. Final Provisions
Decisions of the judges are final and binding.
The organizing committee reserves the right to revise the mechanics when necessary.
