Today, the Church commemorates the Memorial of the Coronation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, contemplating Mary as the Queen of Heaven and Earth. Her queenship is not founded on earthly power, but on her perfect union with Christ, the King of the Universe. Having faithfully shared in the mystery of her Son’s life, death, and Resurrection, she now shares in His heavenly glory and lovingly intercedes for all God’s children.

As we honor our Mahal na Inâ, may we imitate her humility, obedience, and unwavering faith, so that one day we too may share in the eternal kingdom of her Son.
