☀️🌿 𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒅𝒐𝒆𝒔 𝒊𝒕 𝒎𝒆𝒂𝒏 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒍𝒚 𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒗𝒆?

The world often tells us that thriving is found in doing more, becoming more, achieving more. We are taught to measure our lives by progress, productivity, and the applause that follows.

But the Kingdom of God has always measured life differently.

A tree does not become magnificent because it grows quickly. It becomes strong because it remains. Long before its branches reach toward the sky, its roots have quietly learned to cling to the source that sustains them. The beauty we admire above the ground is only possible because of a faithfulness hidden beneath it.

ᴘᴇʀʜᴀᴘꜱ ᴏᴜʀ ʟɪᴠᴇꜱ ᴀʀᴇ ɴᴏ ᴅɪꜰꜰᴇʀᴇɴᴛ.

In John 15, Jesus calls Himself the True Vine and us His branches. It is striking that He does not command us to bear fruit. He commands us to abide. Fruit is never something we force into existence; it is the quiet evidence of a life continually nourished by Christ.

So often we ask, “𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐈 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰?” when perhaps the better question is, “𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐦 𝐈 𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐝?”

Because where we remain will always shape what we become.

This year’s Exodus Circuit Youth Fellowship is an invitation to return to that simple, enduring truth. To set aside the hurried pace of life for a while, to worship together, to listen, to learn, and to remember that the deepest kind of growth is often the quietest.
