JUST IN | October 8, 2023

As part of the CYAF celebration, CYAF-Opol visited our brothers and sisters at the Lingating UCCP Church in Baungon, Bukidnon, and we joined hands with the Galficer churches and CMAC to carry out a meaningful ministry.

Our day was filled with compassion as we conducted a Medical Mission, distributed School Supplies, shared an Agape Meal, and came together for a heartwarming Sunday Service.

In moments like these, we truly feel the spirit of community and the joy of giving back to our fellow UCCP family. Thank you to everyone for your generous donations and dedicated service, which made this day possible! All of these efforts are dedicated to the glory of our Lord.

Opol-CYAF had a wonderful Sunday on October 1, 2023, at Opol UCCP church. Our CYAF Treasurer, Sis. Almalyn Doldol, led the way by delivering a powerful and inspiring sermon during the Sunday service. The day was brimming with joy and excitement as CYAF members brought delicious food to share with everyone.

The CYAF UCCP Opol actively participated in the 3rd CMAC CYAF Assembly 2023 held at CDO-UCCP Church with the theme: 'Rebuilding and Restoring with Hope: Heralding the Unity of the Body of Christ'. Our very own Sis. Gemmalyn Agol and Sis. Jessica Geraldizo represented the organization, and we are grateful for their commitment and dedication to our ministry.

The assembly was a huge success, and we are grateful to all the organizers, speakers, and participants who made it possible. The theme of the assembly reminded us of the importance of hope and unity in rebuilding and restoring our faith, our communities, and our world.

We look forward to applying the lessons we learned and sharing our experiences with the rest of our CYAF community. Thank you all for your support, and we can't wait for the next CYAF event! 🙏🏻🙌🏻

As we celebrate Easter or Resurrection Sunday, let us remember the words of the angel who appeared to the women at the tomb of Jesus: 'Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay' (Matthew 28:5-6).

These words are a powerful reminder of the hope and joy that the resurrection of Jesus brings us. Despite the darkness and despair of his death, Jesus triumphed over death and rose to new life. He fulfilled the promise he made to his disciples and to all of us who believe in him.

May we be filled with the same sense of awe and wonder as the women at the tomb as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus this Easter. Let us rejoice in the hope and promise of new life that He brings us, and may we share the good news of the resurrection with all those around us.

Happy Resurrection Sunday, and may the blessings of the risen Christ be with you always!

November 27, 2022 | THANKSGIVING & ANNIVERSARY SUNDAY

"Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." -1 Thessalonians 5:18-

The UCCP Opol celebrates its 64th Church Anniversary and Thanksgiving, and the CYAF members together with other CROs show support and took the lead in the successful and fruitful celebration. We, the church members are constantly inspired by the Holy Spirit and determined to live faithfully with God and in the community.

May this celebration be a constant reminder that for 64 years of existence, the church and its people are still together celebrating the oneness of God's creation, and being shared and savored by the community of faith. May this celebration be an inspiration to the younger generation of God's faithfulness to His flock.
