The Divine Mercy Vicariate Youth Coordinating Council (DMVYCC) gathered May 17, 2026 at Sta. Cruz Parish, Laguindingan, Misamis Oriental for its Monthly Meeting and Coordination Meeting, strengthening fellowship and unity among the youth while discussing upcoming activities and plans for the vicariate.

Guided by faith and shared mission, the youth continue to move forward together in service, leadership, and commitment to the Church and community.

The Divine Mercy Vicariate Youth Coordinating Council (DMVYCC) gathered for its 3rd Monthly Regular Meeting this March 14, 2026, at the Our Mother of Perpetual Help Parish, Barra, Opol, Misamis Oriental, strengthening fellowship while preparing for the upcoming youth activities.

Key preparations and updates were discussed for the following events: VYD 2026 in Laguindingan, AYD 2026, the Cabustam Youth Congress, and the anticipated participation in NYD 2028. This congress will gather youth leaders from the different arch/dioceses in the CABUSTAMPRO Sub-Region. It is a biennial gathering that serves as an avenue for a renewed integral evangelization, prayerful reflections and sharing of best practices for a more dynamic, meaningful and collaborative ministering the youth in the local setting.

Inspired by the theme โ€œ๐—ฅ๐—ผ๐—ผ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฑ ๐—ถ๐—ป ๐—›๐—ผ๐—ฝ๐—ฒ: ๐—ก๐—ฒ๐˜„ ๐—›๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜๐˜€, ๐—–๐—ผ๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ด๐—ฒ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐˜€ ๐—ง๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜๐—ถ๐—บ๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐˜€โ€, takes its inspiration on the theme for the 41st WYD taking place in Seoul, South Korea, the triennium celebration of the Diocese of Butuan for its 60th Anniversary, Pastoral Thrust of the Diocese of Butuan in the spirit of Synodality. The theme highlights that a deep foundation in hope (Romans 12:12) cultivated by a transformed heart (Ezekiel 36:26) empowers youth to live with courage and share their personal stories of faith.
