“Ayaw kahadlok; tuo lamang.” — Marcos 5:36

Karong adlawa, atong ipahinumdom sa atong kaugalingon nga ang pagtuo dili lamang makita sa atong mga pulong, kondili labi na sa atong mga buhat sa pagpasaylo, pagtabang, paghigugma, ug pag-alagad sa atong isigkatawo.

Hinaot nga pinaagi sa Balaang Misa, mapalig-on pag-usab ang atong pagtuo ug kasingkasing. Bisan unsa pa ang atong giagian, salig kita nga ang Ginoo kanunay anaa uban kanato, naggiya, nagpanalipod, ug naghatag og kusog.

HOLY MASS | 11th Sunday After Pentecost

“Ayaw kahadlok; ako kini. Anhi.”
— Mateo 14:27

Karong adlawa, gipahinumdoman kita sa Ebanghelyo nga ang atong kinabuhi sama sa usa ka sakayan nga naglawig sa dagat. Adunay mga panahon nga malinawon ang dagat, apan adunay usab mga higayon nga moabot ang kusog nga hangin ug dagkong balod—mga pagsulay, kahadlok, kabalaka, kapakyasan, ug mga butang nga dili nato kontrolado.

Sa dihang nakita sa mga tinun-an si Jesus nga naglakaw ibabaw sa tubig, nahadlok sila. Apan miingon si Jesus:

“Ayaw kahadlok; ako kini.”

Mao usab kini ang mensahe sa Ginoo kanato karong adlawa: Ayaw kahadlok, kay ania Ako.
